These are better than my old Powerbeats Pro in almost every way. I just got these since I lost one of my Powerbeats Earbuds. And to my surprise, they are extremely good. Battery life is absolutely amazing, the case is not even that bulky or heavy. Have wireless charging, fits the ears perfectly fine and comes with many different eartips, they are also light and there is no ear pain whatsoever. Sound out of the box was not amazing, but with the right ear tips (this makes a huge difference) and the EQ in the app (or any other EQ app) the sound is awesome. Just on par with other $200+ earbuds I have had. App UI might look outdated, but works surprisingly good for me on Android, have better functionality than any headphone app I used (Bose, Beats or Airpods), you can change what tap, double tap, triple tap and holding does (including disable). In terms of ANC I'd not really recommend these, in fact I don't even notice any difference and would just leave it off. Other than that I don't have any complaints, would recommend these 100%.
The details and the credibility of your opinion really reflects on the video. I finished the whole review listening to everything you've said. Well done man! Appreciate your awesome take on these 🙏🏼
Thanks for the video. I been rocking with JLab since early 2020 when I bought the GoAir's. They are a solid company that makes inexpensive but good quality audio. I had the Epic Air ANC as well as the JBuds ANC and they do the job. I also thought the ANC was mediocre until I tried the blue foam eartips, totally changed my opinion
@@AndysTechTone The Epic Air ANC are good, not the most comfortable for me, but with the app, these earbuds come alive, plus I like the way the ANC comes on gradually. Solid pair, especially if you can get them on sale for $50
The mic aint that good I sometime have to keep repeating myself but it could be that where I work be really loud I think that's the only thing bad for me but I rather get these headphones instead of powerbeats
These better then powerbeats only thing I don't like is the mic quality I work at a place that's really loud so that can be a reason I'm a fan of this company now
I am going to return these and get new ones. What earbuds do you recommend around $100 that are comfortable and have the same ear hooks that these ones do.
I can't figure out its ANC feature. Whenever, I am on a call, the person on other side of the call hear a lot of my ambient noise. Infact more loud than my own voice. Can anyone guide how to tackle this issue. Its very annoying while taking work calls.
Hi you do some great reviews. You should try the koss ksc35 there not true wireless but best sound quilty and comfort that why im returning my bose soundsport
I will check those out before my return policy expires. I am very satisfied with my Bose Soundsport, as the music quality is the best I have heard. Two hours working out, as well as an hour a day walking my dog and they sound fantastic. I appreciate the new option and I will check them out...
I just bought some of these today they don’t sound half bad but mine was 100 bucks . Tryin to get both charged at the same time the right side is still at 5 percent . While the left says it’s at 100. Love the app tho makes the music and phone calls sound decent
As I play soccer at my house the music pauses randomly. My hair isn’t touching it and I’m not too far from my phone. Do you know the issue. I use Spotify by the way.
do you know of any earbuds with ear-hooks and the feature to connect to my laptop and phone at the same time? regular earbuds always fall out of my ear, so i need the ear hooks
Hi Andy! Thanks for the review. Which one is better? These or sony 800n? I need something for sport and work. sound and comfy matter to me. I would use them during my work where I would try noise cancellation since our lab members are quite chatty 😅. I know that in the video, you said that noise cancellation is weak for the jlab but did you try the blue tips as recommended in one the comments? Does it work with the blue tip? Am a female, just to keep in mind ;) thanks for adding the opinion of your girlfriend!
The foam tip does not make much of a difference in terms of ANC but it depends on your ears and the passive isolation you can get as well. I'd choose the Sony without a doubt but they are quite large buds so not sure again how well it will fit your ears. And yeah, my gf prefers using the JLab
I saw this for $40 on jlabs site, i had to jump on the offer, oh and its the 2nd gen, althou the only difference i see is that it has tile app to find them if they get lost
Is it normal that one of the earbuds charges 5% less than the other one? Every time I fully charge them, the right one reaches 100% while the left one only 95%
Both should be at 100 percent after being fully charged but maybe 5% of a difference is not that big of an issue. How about after some use? Does the battery of the 95% one die sooner too?
@@AndysTechTone actually that is the case. There’s always one earbud’s battery that lasts longer than the other one. This can be upsetting sometimes especially when the battery is low in both and one earbud turns off before the other one. Do you have any idea of why is this happening? Btw thanks for your response
It happens with earbuds that one might last a bit longer than the other one. It’s nothing to worry about unless there is a significant difference (like hours) between the two batteries. Of course you can always ask for a replacement if that bothers you
Hi Andy, can I use just one of them at the time, like PowerBeats PRO? When I running, I prefer to have just one earbud pluged in :) Thank you for your reply.
@@AndysTechTone Thank you very much for your quick reply! I am from Slovakia (Europe) and wanted some earbuds with hook for my running. I was about to buy PowerBeats PRO, but I saw so many reviews about problems, so I decide for those. I also wanted jLab Audio Air Sport (not Epic), but I read that those (Epic) is much comfortly, and I am using buds for my 4-6 hours runs. I do not need quick charge, so I hope that I will be satisfied with those Epic! :)
How reliable are these as far as charging/connection? I have the power beats pro and I CONSTANTLY have problems with when I go to take them out, one or both buds is dead even though the case has plenty of charge. I don't know if it's because of the ear hooks somehow or if they just have a sucky design. I'm interested in these but don't want to have the same problem.
Batteries barely last 6 hours. Not even 8 hours. I wear them to go to sleep and they don't even last 8 hours of sleep. I wake up and 1 of them has turned off already.

Good video I love my old jlab been thinking switching to this one the sound quality it's amazing
The sound is indeed great. You can hardly find better hook design buds for the same money
Where can I find a sound chart for these earbuds?
How is the mic? It's important that I can take calls in highway or restaurant noise and my audience still hears me well.

Hey bro, nice video, the sound is better than the bose sport earbuds or is same?
Let me know your opinion about the sound compared to other earbuds
The Bose Sport Earbuds sound much better to me. Details, soundstage, separation, not the best on the JLab, but really good on the Bose
