Congrats! So cool to see their behaviours. Love the shaker too. Looking amazing 👏🏻
Hey' I don't use this account much to post anything about my current aquarium however I must say your methods have inspired me greatly. I did a little collecting diving trip to the FL KEYS about a month ago now. where I collected a wide range of marine vascular plants (not macro algae-although these were also collected in moderation) MAINLY THINGS LIKE, turtle grass, shoal grass, & Manatee grass. & Ever since then it has done wonders for my filtration, reason being these plants absorb NO3 & PO as well as carbon intake through their blades, & root systems.... That being said the tank is relatively small around (20 gallons) However I have noticed considerable biological diversity in this short amount of time, Nudibranchs, sponges, hydroids, tunicates, cnidarians-including jellyfish. As well as bizarre colors in my coral not often seen in these species' ex: MONTIPORA. I have actually had your same problem where I constantly need to add nutrients sometimes. 3,4,5 or even 6 times a day just to keep the filter feeding, as well to keep organisms thriving. In my opinion (pests or not this is a true ecosystem) thank you. I believe I owe UA-cam a video to back up these wild observations in due time I suppose.
: side note the macro algae does not grow rapidly like most tanks I'm still speculating on this however I believe it is because their process of osmosis cannot collect PO & NO3 as effectively as the vascular pl
Take care & thanks
❤
Yeee, babies! Good luck clownfish parents!❤
Thanks
Congratulations 🙌
Proud fish dad lol
Really love how this tank has turned out.
Yeah me too. Persistence and patients pays off 👍
My clowns are getting bigger. My black one is slightly bigger than my orange one.
Hey that's pretty ace mate. Congratulations. Surprise fry is always top ace but mid-video is extra cool.
Thanks buddy it's awesome I can't wait to see if anything survives
Your alive, 😂😂😂
@johnmaude5065 sure am mate. Just been busy like a croc in a teeth brushing competition haha..
@@DanielKeepingFish I’m waiting on more videos about stuff I can’t get here 🤣🤣🤣
@johnmaude5065 haha.. watch this space mate. 😉
My clowns bite the flesh out of me every time I look at the Tank.
Little *****
Well done, you get your tanks so good, just started to get my kit in place for the big change over to marine. nice to see you back on air
Thanks I just had a little break over Xmas. Hope your tank goes well 👍
That would be amazing if some survived
It would, but I'm being realistic in thinking they won't, but let's see👍
That's great ❤.
I know 🥰 Thanks for watching
Great Tank 😊
Thanks
All but basic Clown Fish have aggressive issues
Those eggs are 3-5 days old too, expect them too hatch in 7-10 days , mine lay every 12-16 days , which I had the time to raise them , I’ve watched them hatch & swim/ float in the water column but then next morning their gone or not too be seen.
Ah nice I was wondering how long it takes
Great looking tank! Would you say their is enough room for a FX series filter in the cabinet?
Same thing happened in my tank. Now its become a monthly thing. None of them are surviving though.
Are you feeding the fry something suitable? Feel like I can't lecture here (my very first tank is still dry, and my experience extends only to watching UA-cam). Seems like people trying to raise clown fish feed them with rotifer cultures, and that strict control of the ambient light on the tank is critical. Perhaps other fish in your tank also find the fry to be tasty snacks?
No Peter I haven't tried controlling the light in order just to hatch them. I cater my lighting more to my corals and getting that just right has taken so much time and effort I just don't want to mess with it and throw anything out of wack.
I did consider starting a new small tank for the clowns and their nem but don't have time at the moment
Grr... My "dry" first tank is now 4-sides and a pile of broken pieces :(. Storm Isha just blew over the cabinet and tank in the garden where I'd been preparing and cleaning it.
What bubble tip anemone is that?
Good Sir is green finger algae, rubbish?
please take the rest of the fish out and let the clownfish take over that tank and give them a home for the babies to grow up safe!
lol my clowns have murdered fish they have bitten me etc my big momma she obliterated my bi color angel
Don't put ur hand in !! It's not good for your tank anyways buy tools for you aquarium
A skimmer completely negates this lol let alone wash your hands before going in your system lol why you so silly
