Short History of SACCONEJOLYs
In 2008 Anna was uploading beauty videos to youtube on her own channel and Jonathan was helping her behind the scenes.
In late 2009 Jonathan set up this channel because he wanted to do his own youtube videos. What started out as a week experiment to film his life everyday for 7 days in a row has now become SACCONEJOLYS
this channel was formally known as LeFloofTV but was later changed to SACCONEJOLYs
When Jonathan Joly married Anna Saccone they both decided that instead of Anna dropping her family name they would both take each others name and join them together.
They choose to use SACCONEJOLY rather then JOLYSACCONE simply because it sounded better.
Jonathan and Anna Saccone Joly have four children, Emilia Saccone Joly, Eduardo Saccone Joly, Alessia Saccone Joly and Andrea Saccone Joly they also have six maltese dogs, Albi, Sina, Theo, Bianca, Nivea and Nuvola.
They moved from Ireland to the UK in 2014.

And people question your parenting??? You are one of the best dads ive ever seen. I can see how worried you are and the love you have for your children ❤❤❤
It's probably because she had a cold shower in the morning
Jessica Pearson hes just telling people what’s going on.
I've just started watching this video and this is exactly what I was thinking
@I Love The Colour Pink that's a very serious allegation to make with nothing to back it up and no proof. I'd be very careful
I Love The Colour Pink pretty sure he isn’t but ok
He followed protocol in England we have to ring first, and then follow procedure..leave him alone he did fantastic, it is scary and parenting is a learning curve everyday..fab parents..X
This worked with the kids I take care of & it may work with Alessia’s medicine time: Give Eduardo/Emilia a syringe full filled with water or milk and reward them with a cookie in front of Alessia. She’ll see how brave they are & might want to try it too!
Poor Alessia does not look like her cheeky self :( Hoping it was nothing serious or underlying and just a fever in this summer heat! Toddlers/kids are pretty tough though!
Febrile Convulsions
Vaxxine reaction...
Always sensible to strip children when they’re temp is so raised and not to cuddle them or sit them on you (as hard as that seems) so as to help their temp not to raise further. Sitting on someone/cuddling up to someone just makes them feel warmer. Hope she’s so much better now.
And apparently neurofen is better for reducing temperatures.
Watched andrea and alessia’s eating scene twice bc i had to watch each one of them cant get over how cute they are♥️
Loved it also! She kept turning and positioning his roll for him - adorable and sweet.
Petition to always have a montage of Alessia and Andrea eating. That was too adorable 😂
‘I don’t like it’ omg it breaks your heart😭
Got a little bit emotional when you had to call 999. Poor Alessia, she looked so poorly :(
That’s what I’m thinking too if it’s such an emergency you would think of whipping out your camera. He’s being dramatic as usual.
Is 999 like 911?
Aubrey Tuck An ambulance did not come to the door so I don’t think so. We need the expertise of a London citizen.
@@aubreytuck6097 yes, 999 is the British version and is our emergency services number xx
He was calling 111 which is a non emergency NHS service. They can then advise to call 999 if they need an ambulance. Looks like he just drove her to hospital though...... as they didnt seem to film that or seem that worried
Take an advanced first aid class. Helped us out alot. Prayers sent
I’m so glad that Lessie is okay, u scared us all Jonathan. You are such a good dad and care about your children so much they are so lucky to have u for a dad.
The little finger tap Alessia did on Andrea’s wrap 😂💕🍴
Just like mummy...
Sarah Seagrim Omg ik she’s so cute 😫
Wasn’t that the cutest thing 😍
Aww the montage of both of them was adorable
Alessia was funny when she was eating, taking a bite of one piece then moves along the next piece.
So I’m a children’s nurse in A&E and just so people don’t think they need to call 999 when their child has a temperature...temperatures are normal in children, it helps them fight infections and viruses. The shaking is like a shivering to try to cool themselves down, the same if they’re too cold, they’ll shake to warm up. Also, a child DOES NOT need to have a temperature of above 40 to have a febrile convulsion, some children will convulse with a temperature of 37.9 and some children will reach 42 and never have a seizure. Also, checking the temperature every few minutes is not going to help. Give calpol/ibuprofen, strip them off, try not to cuddle into them and just give them time. If still high after a couple hours, give the other medicine and repeat. Obviously there are red flags that go along with temperatures such as non-blanching rashes and neck stiffness etc etc but just the temperature alone is not cause for immediate concern
Don't know how it works in UK but we would just take them to the ER with that high of a temp. Hope Alessia is ok.
Nancy Oleksy the ER (emergency room I think) is called A+E (accident and emergency) and your right with a temp like that we would feel worried and want to call 999 (or to you 911) but it’s better to call 111, the advice line
Our A&E are going through a crisis so people like to check before hand by calling 999 or 111 which offers advice a sometimes they would want an ambalance to come out too x
The fact they didn’t end up going to A&E suggests he made the right choice calling 111 as clearly they and 999 were able to offer the correct advice without taking her in & using unnecessary NHS resources
We have a newer system because you don’t want to waste the nhs time if it’s not an emergency you call 111 to get advise on what the right place to go is and whether or not you should call an ambulance
To add, with children it’s always best to check when the temperature is high anyway as they can get something called febrile illness from high temperatures as they cannot regulate properly and may have febrile convulsions which can of course be very scary
Praying for dear Alessia. Hope she feels better in the morning.
By the way, did anyone else got intrigued by what Eduardo was saying "daddy! Thee lady moved!"
"The lady on the roof" like what does that mean!?
@@duckylovespi exactly!! He said the lady on the roof moved. What lady Wardo? I'm very curious at this point.
@@nerizzeannemendoza618 In a different vlog Anna shows a little toy that looks like a girl doll that Eduardo threw onto the roof. Maybe that's the lady he's referring to? haha
Alessia and Andrea are so cute together! I’m glad she’s feeling better ❤️
My heart😩Alessia and Andrea eating together, and sharing sweetcorn is so adorable 😍
Poor baby!! Glad she's okay. Its febrile convulsions I think it's called. My cousin's kids had this when their temp goes too high because they can't regulate their temp!
Terrifying for a parent!
The time lapse of Alessia and Andrea was cute! Hope Alessia is feeling better!
That’s 104.3 I would take her to the hospital! Poor baby girl! 🤒. I’m glad she got better so quickly! 🤭
Caren B they have to ring 111 number 1st
No need honestly, kids get sick and all so need it's normal, if the fever doesn't get better in a couple of days then you can worry
Well hey Well no.... a temperature that high in a child under 6 can lead to a Febrile Convulsion. Hospitals recommend calling the ambulance immediately if it’s the first time experiencing something like that (at least in Australia it is)
Yeah, that’s high enough for a febrile seizure. Any parent or caretaker should immediately help to bring the fever down..take off clothes, put in tepid bath, ice packs to underarms and groin, an antipyretic (acetaminophen or ibuprofen).
@@TayMareeEntertainmentsGames not where I live, I mean if it lasts a couple of days or gets even higher then absolutely, go to hospital.
I work with kids, as a babysitter and at a daycare, so I babysit kids with that fever and I have kids I work with that I send home because of a fever. They are usually their normal self in a couple of days
Aw, poor Lessie! So glad she's feeling better. I love how the babies were sharing sweet corn together.
I could watch Alessia and Andrea eat in high speed allllll day! Much love from Canada ♥️

Her poor little eyes. Feel so sad watching this!!
I’m so happy Lessie is doing better. She looked so out of it. Watching Alessia and Andrea eat lunch was so cute. Love to the whole family. ❤️😘
alessia is the most gorgeous little lady. she seems so intelligent and kind, and its so lovely to see how much her personality has developed and hearing her little voice and opinions, such a sweetie. glad she's ok now xxx
My son when 3 had a 102 temp from a flu ,he had seizure and OMG ....He is 16 years old now and Jonathan I have your heart right here ..Poor Alessia
This happened to my son about two months ago and it was the scariest thing. He woke up from a nap fine and five minutes later he just collapsed and started convulsing. Terrifying!
My 6 months old son has had 4 in the last 3 months. One time without having a fever. He has now had a brainscan and an MRI just to make sure that there is nothing wrong in his head
So scary! A fever that high is not anything to mess with. I would have taken her right to the hospital. I'm so glad she's okay and that you guys took good care of her. ❤️
The three hands in the thumbnail were confusing me! Glad she’s ok!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My daughter has developed a fever like that before in fact she was around Alessia ‘s age the first time. When we called the doctor they told us to alternate giving her doses of Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 4 hours and to put her in a lukewarm or tepid bath to help bring her temperature down and reduce the risk of febrile seizure. Her’s happened at 2 am and the doctor’s office was closed and if we had gone to the Emergency Room the only thing different would be them doing bloodwork, maybe an IV for fluids, and prescribe an antibiotic if it’s not a virus. She booked us an appointment for the morning and told us to take her to the hospital if she got worse before 8 am when the office opened. Thankfully she didn’t get worse and when we took her in she had double ear infections. It’s scary to see your baby under the age of 3 spiking a high fever especially a first child. Your calm demeanor helped to keep Alessia calm. Babies and children are more sensitive to their parents demeanor than most people realize which is why people on yesterday’s video were telling you to stop saying that the different rides and activities were scary and because you were making her scared to even try each thing. It’s the same thing when parents project their fears about going to the doctor or dentist based on their fears or insecurities. Some start it with their baby as early as 4-6 months old saying things about being scared of needles and getting shots which plants that notion in their head even when they don’t understand what is being said and it gets worse as they get older and more aware of things being said and done. Something to think about.
All of your children are treasures and it’s fun to watch their different relationships develop and grow as they do. Eduardo has been such a great role model for Alessia and Andrea on how to show their love for each other, play, and interact and get along. There will always be minor squabbles because they’re siblings and different ages which is normal. Those close relationships can last a lifetime.
I do wish that you both would stop constantly saying that Eduardo is a mess or trouble maker or the other negative things and the same with Alessia being Alessie messy or she’s a mood because they hear you and it reinforces that behavior or attitude. Back when Alessia was a tiny baby Eduardo had matured and developed enough to realize that he didn’t have to do everything Emilia dictated and that he could do things his way and play with different people and things. As expected Emilia wasn’t happy about the changes going on in her kingdom and she started rebelling in her own way which was doing things covertly and making it look like Eduardo had done it and faking injuries and blaming Eduardo for it. You can actually go back to videos from then and watch her in action. Sometimes it takes an outside observer to see what is going on. It’s similar to how children can be and act at school and on the playground where out of self preservation they blame someone else for something they did. It was around that time you suddenly noticed that Eduardo was acting up a lot and being naughty which in a way he was because he was standing his ground and not meekly following and doing everything Emilia said or did. Being in school and around children other than Emilia he had learned that hey she isn’t the boss and he could do other things and it was okay to do them. Emilia has really developed and matured over the last 7-8 months and thankfully it has been good changes as she realizes that she can now do different things with her schoolmates and friends and that she doesn’t always want to do things with her younger siblings and that’s okay too. Evidence of just how much she has changed is in the clip in her bedroom where Eduardo is trying to film a little bit with singing and dancing and he tells her not to be in it and she backs off to let him. In the past she would have been the center of attention and controlling everything. Pretty cool to see how that has changed. It became a game each time she snuck into the background and eventually they were giggling about it. I LOVE seeing how your relationship with each child is evolving and changing as they get older and can do different things with you. I have really enjoyed getting to know you and watch as the different events in your life and family has helped you all grow and change not only as individuals, but as a family and the different relationships within the family. I have a lot of respect for you and your family.I hope you understand what I am talking about. Moving to the new house was actually beneficial to the children because the shake up caused by the move allowed subtle changes to happen that allowed new dynamics to grow and develop their their relationships and how they interacted with each other. Sure there are still unsettled things that will take longer to even out, but it will calm down more with each passing day. Any change in a child’s routine can disrupt them and their behavior and moods for days just like different things can cause you to have ups and downs. Just some things to think about and I’m not telling what to do or anything just sharing some observations and insights from another parent and a teacher specializing in education of children from birth to 12+ years old. I also come from a large family (8 children) and my many years of working with children. So those with hateful comments etc can stop trying to create drama or being jerks because I won’t respond back to them. And yes I know that they aren’t my children and that I am not part of the family and I am not telling them what to do or how to raise their children. I am sharing information which they can take or leave. Have a nice day and hopefully Alessia is feeling better.
Did Jonathan call badminton “babington” 😂😂
Catherine Butler seriously I was thinking the same thing. “Shuttlecocks”?!? Haha I’ve grown up to know them as “birdies”
Tbf I know them as shuttlecocks too! But just not babington😂😂
Babington 😂😂 wtf
Birdies are a US thing.

SO CUUUTEEEE🥺💜
So glad alessia is ok :) shes beyond adorable ♡ love your sweet family sooo much !
Awww the part where Alessia and Andrea were eating their wraps and Alessia was trying to feed Andrea and was always checking up on him, making sure he was ok, that was sooo cuteee!! It shows how good of a big sister she is already getting!❤️❤️
it’s official, alessia saccone joly is the cutest little bean
I hope she is feeling better! I've worked in nursery for 12 years and the worst thing you can do for them when they have a temp is cuddle them tight as your body heat also heats them its so hard as all they want is comfort, try stripping her down and placing a breathable blanket over her slightly, offer cool drinks and also cold compress with a flannel, you don't want to go to cold on her but it will gradually help a little until the temp goes down. I've seen kids have convulsions and it isn't very nice xxxx
I remember when Emilia used to call herself Biba!
Ellie Ineversaidiwasnormal best phase everrrrrr
I’m sooooo glad Messy Lessy got some meds and is feeling much better! I’ve watched y’all for years and have enjoyed every second of it, but today’s videos is what I don’t miss about raising kids. Sick kids... because as a parent you never want them to be sick but especially when they are too small to tell you what’s wrong! Also the fighting over the camera bit at the end! lol I know it’s all a part of raising kids but I think that’s why so many of us fell in love with the kids...it’s because you’re so good at only showing the bits that make you say “awwww” and not showing the bits that make you say “arghhhhh”! lolol ❤️
I’ve been watching since before Eduardo was born and have never been so worried when seeing a title. I’m so glad she’s feeling better! Seeing Alessia with the sweetcorn always amuses me, it’s been my favourite veg since I was about her age too! I’m now 18 and still eat a spoonful from the can after using some 🤪
You're such a good dad Jonathan. Anna and your children are truly blessed to have you x
Hope everything is ok! Hope little Lessie feels better❤️ Sending all my love and hugs to her🤗
I’m a paediatric nurse . They did they right thing to call 999. You can’t deal with a fitting child whilst driving . Safer with a paramedic or two who can put a line in and deal with an airway. Children can go down hill in the blink of an eye . They also rebound really quickly .. which is why I loved paediatrics
Aw bless her. My son has fever convulsions but they kept coming back and last month he got taken back to hospital with it and now has been diagnosed with epilepsy! He’s only 2! It’s a very scary time xx
Hope he recovers from it and it's not something he has to deal with long-term. X
Who is the lady on the roof and why did she move?!
I clocked that too, I want to know more!
What time is she on?! I can’t see her
@@ThePiggy10 it was something Wardo said, we didn't see her.

You scared me! Hope lessie gets better, sending my love! 💙 💖💕
Em is so grown up and mature! I love the way you raise your children. This is one amazing family dynamic.
Alessia talking is honestly the cutest 😊😊❤️
I always say y’all are amazing parents and I don’t want to judge another parent. But, I can't help but feel that lil Alesia should be home resting and not out running errands about town. Kids are strong but everyone wants to be home when they don't feel well and kids can't alway speak up for their own feelings.
I have to agree:( love them but she shouldn’t have been out. Poor thing even put her head in her hands ☹️ I don’t think Anna even mentions her being sick
Agreed.
If any of you had payed attention before judging and making comments.. he took her on the way home from the doctors!!!! Probably while they were picking up her prescription they took Andrea to go get his too!
Just shut up they’re their parents and know what they’re doing. You really can’t escape unsolicited advice from ppl.
Alessia and Andrea are so cute together! She is a caring big sister and so lovely!
Where I live, children 2 and under are recommended to be taken to the emergency room if the temp is 106 f or 41 c. And seizures can be caused by a high fever! It’s called a febrile seizure! It can be a one off thing when the temp goes up very rapidly or a condition that the child has whenever they get any kinda fever. Scary no matter what and glad girly is doing better!
The ending has me dead, how Eduardo kept pushing Emilia out of his spotlight and instead of throwing a fit she'd just walk off and try again! She is just such an angel and the best big sis ever!
Children respond to an infection by heating their bodies up to clear it.
A 40 degree temp is not good news.
Although it’s tempting to cuddle, all you’re doing is keeping her warm. Strip down to nappy/underwear, give a tepid bath if possible.
Ibuprofen is better at bringing down a high temp than calpol.
There’s always a reason for the temp though... I don’t think Alessia should have been out and about afterwards.
She seemed to hold her ear a little... perhaps an ear infection. I’m sure at A&E however that’s one of the first things they check for.
My 9 month old daughter was running a 40.2 temp too a year ago, turned out to be Pneumococcal Meningitis.
Annie Edwards I must have missed her shiver
I’m so happy that Alessia is ok now.
She’s so sweet with Andrea.
i’ve worked in childcare for 3 years and normally children who get fever convulsions should have (paracetamol) medication administered straight away when the temp hits 38 degrees. we normally apply a cold wash cloth to the back of the neck and strip down the clothing.
it is normal when they shake after hitting 40 degrees because they get so hot!
poor angel i hope she gets better really soon 💜
Hope Alessia feels better soon,I think what you are talking about is Febrile Convulsion.
Sarah Gisborne I used to have these. Super scary for everyone but finally grew out of them
No. Febrile convulsion is simply a convulsion caused by a high fever. Sorry idk what he is talking about. Im an RN and i have no clue
I am also an RN and febrile convulsion is exactly what he is talking about.
Yeah I had a febrile convulsion when I was about alessia's age. Got rushed to hospital because they thought it could have been like epilepsy or something but I was fine and just had to have some further check ups and stuff.
Very scary we have dealt with it recently in my 14 month old . Over two babies no matter what doc I asked about fever and when to worry I couldn’t get a decent answer until recently. This was what I was told by a doc I’m confident with , if the temp goes up to even 40 and you can bring it down slowly with calpol etc it’s fine it’s when it shoots up from normal to fever and over 40 worry . It’s how fast it goes up . I hope she is feeling better soon poor baba xxx
It's called a febrile convulsion! It's where your body convulses as it is unable to regulate it's normal temperature. A convulsion is in a way, the body's way of coping with the temperature.I have one when I was younger. So I think that they are quite common!
If the convulsions were a result of the fever, where did the fever come from? Was it just a virus or something?
rosie s It could of been a bacterial infection or a virus. Kids are still quite susceptible to infections and such. So yes, it was probably some sort of an infection.
Ashleigh Dean okay just wondering if I missed him saying what caused the fever
So she went from being 40.5c and you panicking. And then the next you’re taking her shopping? She should be resting!
Kitty Kat right like tfffffff evennnnn
Violet Hallam no they aren’t lol I have two children myself and like hell would I get them out and about when they have a temperature that high!
Violet Hallam haha silly girl.
I think they came from the hospital then went to shop after.
Alessia, do get well little poppet. The tuna and sweetcorn wrap sharing with Andrea was living a 'Friend of my Own' drama, beautiful footage. So adorable. Edwardo dancing and singing ....priceless xxx Lovely vlogs thank you.
Is the word you are looking for Jonathan a seizure?
Because I have already raised two children I want to offer some advice.... but the BEST thing you can do as a parent is take your child to the doctor if you have concerns.
Young children with a fever often experience shivers.... here in the states we would put a small child in a warm bath, NOT HOT or cold, warm and as the water cools it will also bring down the temperature. I find adding a pedialite or plain old popcycle while they are getting their temp down ... works as as a nice treat. A young baby could have a parent join them in the bath... while the other parent helps. We would dress the child in cozy pajamas. Not really hot ones because babies tend to overheat. Not light weight because the shivers may start.
I hope this helps.
When it said her temperature was 40.2 I was like that’s not good. Bless Alessia she’s so cute, better to check with children hope she feels better soon.
My son suffers from febrile seizures. Its not neccesarily to do with how high the temperature is, but how quickly it reaches a high number. He gets them even in the 38s. Interestingly, the last doctor we saw said throat infections often cause them because they tend to elevate the temperature rapidly. The first one he had was very similar to Alessia's - not a full on seizure, but he went floppy and vacant, but more recent ones have been full on fits. He started having them around 18 months, and is nearly four now, but hasn't grown out of them yet. They are very frightening, and its difficult to know when to call 999, when to call 111, or when to just monitor. We were told to time the seizures and if they lasted longer than 5 minutes, or were more severe than previous ones, we were to call 999. He has been tested for epilepsy too, but that was negative. I can fully sympathize, it really is frightening.
Awww poor Alessia I'm so glad she is okay. This breaks my heart seeing her like that poor baby ❤ xx
There are ways to lower a baby’s temperature without meds if it gets dangerously high until you can get medical help. Extremely high temperatures can cause issues with the brain. Please ask your pediatrician if they are ok with you giving foot baths with very warm water and lots of salt. You sit the baby and pour the salted water down from knee down and massage in downward motion. This draws the blood down the body, away from the brain, hence lowering the high temperature inn the brain. I have done this for both my babies and even for college friends. With a bad flu! Do a bit of research on this. It can come pick n handy if you can not get to medical help right away ( like on vacation or camping).
So glad all is well with your precious Lessie.
I don’t know why you have to bring her to the hardware store right after a high fever. She needs to rest at home. But anyway, just glad she’s all good.
I'm a 40 year career Pediatric RN and I'm dumbstruck as to why she went shopping and playing outside! She should have been inside wearing her jammies drinking a juice cup of Pedialyte!
Minerva Basilio I totally agree with the both of you! If it was my child they would be at home resting. Either Jonathon didn’t really have anything else he could do and had to grab the supplies but the doctor may have also told him she should be a lot better now! My auntie took my cousin out after getting back from the hospital and I totally agreed but as a a parent they probably know when their child is okay to go out or not
Minerva Lewington Looks like Anna was very busy in house. Maybe she would be under her feet. I do agree with you.
She seemed a lot better, I don’t see the problem. We don’t know what happened at the hospital but it sounds like it was just a scare.
Bean that’s just what you see on camera, don’t judge when you don’t actually know them
Poor Alessia! Glad she is well now. Heart melted and had a little chuckle when she was feeding Andrea, poor fella couldn’t eat fast enough yet she still had most of hers left 🤣🤣
I'm glad shes okay. Nothing scarier than when your child is sick. Did you seriously take her out though that sick? For her sake and others probably would of been best to stay home.
Haven’t watched you guys in ages. Emilia has grown so much and she’s absolutely stunning!!! Stop growing Emilia and Eduardo 😭💕
Awww poor Lessi 😭

That shaking condition is called a rigore. It is when the temp is so high they feel chills as well. Poor baby girl.x.
Febrile convulsions
@@carysmiles those are not febral convulsions yet.

I love that you're teaching the kids to play badminton, it's so refreshing to see that instead of sticking them on iPads and computer games :)
I love watching you guys but I’m not sure I’d be filming myself and my poorly daughter for UA-cam instead of stripping her off/cooling her down and giving calpol, she could have ended up with Febrile Convulsions which are horrible. Your channel/family so your choice of content, I just don’t personally agree on this one! I hope Alessia is much better!! 😞
Nicole Eve Nolan i mean they weren’t sitting there just talking doing nothing he was cuddling her and checking temp and getting medical help
Any child that gets hot can have febrile convulsions. They are very common in children.
Her sweet face when Jonathan was hugging her melted my heart😍❤
This is the first family channel I've seen with minors that hasn't had their comments shut off by UA-cam
Because is Jonathan's channel, not the children's. Judy Travis also has a working comment section.
@@x3danimatos A lot of them don't though. Phil & Alex still haven't managed to get theirs turned back on
KkandbabyJ have theirs to
🤔
Sarah I think it is a choice thing, as so many have their comments back on, I know I’ve heard people say they can but have to accept each one manually, but others comments have just re - appeared.
Also wonder is their a difference between the USA and GB?
Hey, I’m a paediatric nurse... They’re called febrile convulsions - febrile just means high temperature. It happens to babies and toddlers when their temperature rises rapidly. Yous did the right thing, well done! X
Bless her sweetness 🥰 hearing her sweet voice 🥰 hopefully she bounces back quickly 🥰
Hi Jonathan,
You were right to use your parents instinct with Alessia fever not reducing. Febrile convulsions are really terrifying, my son has had Seven, but one in particular was off of the scale scary, when he was Two, he had a seizure, and went into respiratory arrest in the back of an Ambulance, he had to be put into an induced coma to stop the seizure, which was Forty mins long. He is fine now, but i also had a febrile convulsion as a toddler. Any virus, or infection that can bring on a very high temperature can potentially cause one. Always worth getting advice on very high temperatures. All that we have been through, NHS have been Amazing. Get well soon Alessia x
The shaking is called rigors Jonathan, it’s a process where the temperature is actually building up.
I hope Lessi feels better🙁
Misbah Kauser no, it’s not. It’s the body’s attempt to cool itself down.
I had the Febrile convulsions when I was 18 months and was rushed to a&e, and even tho the doctors said I could be poorly forever due to it, here I am, no physical problems 💜 hope your lil bab feels better soon xx
Sorry but I don’t think I would have sat there waiting for someone to answer the phone?! If her temp was that high and shaking I would have rushed to the hospital straight away. My niece had a convulsion and it was so scary.
Exactly
Andrea is always such a cheerful little guy. Poor Alessia is always a grumpy bear
Aww that timelaps was just the cutest 🥰🥰🥰 awwwwww I love how she didn’t steal his food and she was eating every wrap and not finishing them 😂😂 bet she was going for the pieces with loads of sweet corn in ☺️ cute! Your family make me sooo broody!
I hope Lessie feels better soon xxxx
I've never scolded you guys, ever. Since baby Emilia. But why was Alessia out to a store and playing outside? She should be inside in her jammies with her blanket and a cup of Pedialyte! Look at her mothering Andrea at lunch, precious lamb. :'(
Never clicked so fast
Mary Beard neither
Mary Beard me too
Same
same🤘🏽
Bless her. Yes youre right she could have had a febrile convulsion as kids her age cant process or handle a fever like an adult.
And with children they worry about meningitis risk so you 100 % did the right thing. Get well soon lessi xx
“It’s called babington” ... it’s BADMINTON Jonathan 😂
aww poor Alessia. although I think she needs rest and not being taken out and about.
This brings back awful memories from December, my son had one of them febrile convulsion. I had no idea what was happening I thought he was dying in my arms I rang 999 hysterically and they came so fast. I was traumastised for so long! I’d never heard of them before and my first thought that he was dying :( he’s two days younger then Lessie 💙
Calpol and Ibuprofen taken in intervals help to bring the temperature down. Taken an hour apart. My son had the same high temperature and it worked. I have had that advice from a pedestrian and doctor.
Hope she feels better soon x
Alessia and Andrea eating lunch was the cutest thing ever 💗💗💗
Sorry to say this, that this is ridiculous. Her age kid has to be seen as an emergency. Especialy with the temperature like this.
Oh dear, Febrile seizures? Great to hear she is fine thanks!! CUTEST babies eating! One day at a time darlings!!
Seeing alessia cuddling against Jonathon made my heart melt and smile 💕 I hope she is fine or getting better. 🤒
Ha ha the clip with Alessia and Andrea eating was so funny. I eat like Andrea after I've been dieting, I shovel food into my mouth😂😂💗
Bad Robot 🙄
The fact that she has an appetite is a really good sign. I'm happy she's feeling better.
