Hey all, just letting you know if you haven't watched my Summer Update video, that this is my last Zelda video until September. I just didn't have time before my trip to record anymore, but rest assured more Zelda will come. I want to replay the series and that happens to align with me wanting to make more videos. But this doesn't mean no content till Setpember. As a victim of fighting thunderblight for my first divine beast on my first play through, it is not fun but it’s worth it when you clear the other ones with fury
Doing thunderblight first is my favorite part of the game. Its what makes it so replayable imo. Going from cryonis to the tower then to the town all with three hearts and no stamina upgrades.
I’m not big on BotW, and I haven’t done every boss in the game, so I’ll just go based off of their appearance. I think I’d have to go with Calamity Ganon. He looks super awesome. He looks menacing, almost frightening. And the guardian parts that have bonded with him make him even more swagger.
@@coryfreake9070 Partially, but the limited damage weapons and the downtime between hits once out of arrows made him heal WAY too much. Water didn't help
The only blight I actually struggled with is water blight gaming, due to having crappy gear and a meagre 5 hearts, compared tho beating thunder light with 15 hearts and the master sword
I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention that with waterblight ganon, the actual intended progression is to stasis his ice in mid-air, and fire it back at him. Similarly to fireblight sucking in a bomb and thunderblight shocking himself.
Fun thing about Fireblight: it is pitifully weak to the bomb rune, if you hit it with 2 bombs it will collapse without fail every time, thus making it very cheesable
Great video! I’m not sure if you’ve played any other Zelda games aside from botw and ToTK but if you have I’d love to see more rankings for different Zelda games you’ve played.

My bug problem with Thunderblight is that the magnesis spikes tend to be very glitch, and the camera acts super strange in the weird room, messing with depth perception. Really just makes the boss more frustrating than fun.
I did Thunderblight as my second Divine beast. I got really frustrated because he kept on making me drop all my stuff. Then I went shrine hunting to get the master sword. And because you can't drop that I was then able to destroy him.
I fight Taluses all the time in totk, but only because they're insanely good glitchless rupee grinding, and ruppee grinding means arrow and bomb grinding.
In terms of boss design, almost every boss would probably be pretty low outside of Thunderblight, Calamity Phase 1 & Monk Maz Koshia (who would likely be in the Top 3)
So, you beat breath of the wild 100% and never realized that you could break water blight ganon’s spear with cryonis in phase 1, nor smack his projectiles back in phase 2 with stasis? Fair enough, most people use bomb spam.
Did Malice Naydra have a boss health bar? I genuinely can't remember, but I'd say it's one of the more fun setpieces I BotW. Discovering Naydra in my first playthrough was a moment I won't soon forget.
My opinions ThunderBlight: I Hate This Thing I Hate This Thing I Hate This Thing I Hate This Thing I Hate This Thing I Hate This Thing I Hate This Thing, I enjoy flurry rushing but this boss took me so many tries that it sucks. WindBlight: Too Easy, Could have been more challenging. WaterBlight: Also took me so many tries my first time. FireBlight: Also Too Easy but my first try was fun because I was just running around dropping bombs. Dark Beast: Sorta fitting end to the game, just too easy. Stalnox: Worst form of Hinox. Talus: Pretty Cool Bosses Just a bit easy. Hinox: Also easy but satisfying to just blast them with bomb arrows. Molduga: Very Cool and Hilarious fights with a cool creature. Calamity ganon: A cool amalgamation of different creature and blights, exactly what the blights wish they could be. Nyadra: Yes I’m counting this as a boss. It’s like Nintendo made this a setup for the demon dragon in totk. Monk Maz Koshia: Such a cool boss with an epic reward. Master Khoga: You can’t go wrong with Khoga, a hilarious boss with an epic setup for his appearance in totk, he is a great character and the most different “dungeon boss” out of all of them.
Ok I wanted to enjoy this video but you even said during the Dark Beast Ganon part that you weren't going to spoil TotK...and then launch right into spoiling TotK in the NEXT ENTRY. So yeah, gonna thumbs down and leave it there.

I actually kind of like the stalnox, because you can just run away with it’s eye and take it on a journey all across hyrule.
I loved how you could throw bananas on the ground to lure Monk Maz Koshia. Makes a lot of sense and super cool to see.
For a talus, try using a hammer type weapon. The iron sledgehammer will do 4x damage so the one on the great plateau becomes free loot.
The Monk Maz Koshia fight in master mode was so fun and difficult with the healing during phase 2

I loved Breath of The Wild bosses but Tears of The Kingdom bosses ARE BEAUTIFUL, they all somehow manipulated you to use the powers from the sages!

I somehow beat vah naboris as my 2nd divine beast and thought "wow, the others are going to be insane." safe to say I was disappointed

Maz koshia can even rotate the whole arena to make the koga balls go towards you, if you're not fast enough to blast him with them.
Waterblight DLC fight on Master Mode is one of the hardest things I've ever done in BOTW. I even popped an elixer and it still was hard!
Yeah. It's mostly because the fight takes place in the water.

@@pkmngamer1236 The water in the second stage was by far the most problematic part for me which made ilussary waterblight worse than the others.

Good list. I’d rank the elemental talus’ separately though to be honest. The way you approach them is totally different based on which you’re facing.

@@BillySYTit's kind of cool how Naydra foreshadows the demon dragon fight. You basically do the same thing but with a bow and updrafts instead.
