Julie ,kind of similar thing happened in my meditation just a minute ago ,my mind was craving to escape into imaginations of future and various possibilities. About to have tea in a few . ❤
A lot of us also take the present moment as concrete/real and get stuck too. So, they would keep on doing things the same way if life is going well, or they would be depressed and feel stuck if they perceive things as negative.
Well, that would be mental, perceptions ;) not the present moment. Notice the present as it truly is vs the present "situation" as the mind speaks about it :D
