*"THE DOCTORS SAID THEY'VE NEVER SEEN D4CS KILL THE JOESTARS LIKE MINE, THEY TESTED MY STAND, AND IT WASN JUST'T A STAND, IT WAS AMERICAN PRIDE, JOHNNY!"*
Suppose that you were sitting down at a table. The napkins are in front of you, which napkin would you take? The one on your ‘left’? Or the one on your ‘right’? The one on your left side? Or the one on your right side? Usually you would take the one on your left side. That is ‘correct’ too. But in a larger sense on society, that is wrong. Perhaps I could even substitute ‘society’ with the ‘Universe’. The correct answer is that ‘It is determined by the one who takes his or her own napkin first.’ …Yes? If the first one takes the napkin to their right, then there’s no choice but for others to also take the ‘right’ napkin. The same goes for the left. Everyone else will take the napkin to their left, because they have no other option. This is ‘society’… Who are the ones that determine the price of land first? There must have been someone who determined the value of money, first. The size of the rails on a train track? The magnitude of electricity? Laws and Regulations? Who was the first to determine these things? Did we all do it, because this is a Republic? Or was it Arbitrary? NO! The one who took the napkin first determined all of these things! The rules of this world are determined by that same principle of ‘right or left?’! In a Society like this table, a state of equilibrium, once one makes the first move, everyone must follow! In every era, this World has been operating by this napkin principle. And the one who ‘takes the napkin first’ must be someone who is respected by all. It’s not that anyone can fulfill this role… Those that are despotic or unworthy will be scorned. And those are the ‘losers’. In the case of this table, the ‘eldest’ or the ‘Master of the party’ will take the napkin first… Because everyone ‘respects’ those individuals.
Here it's with the timestamp, if anybody would like it: ua-cam.com/video/1McPiczNkGg/v-deo.html I mean I heard the similarities now, but I think it's mostly just similar instruments, pace, melodic contour, and chords (don't actually have a good musical ear ftr), and the same exact function on their songs' forms (that is, the breakdown between the intro and the bass drop); but the rhythms hear very different to me, it being more even in Friedrich's song. I'd would say this is a case of common inspirations. But I didn't hear of my own, and that is actually a really good catch, chief!
Uplifting but menacing. The instrument choice is so fitting for Valentine and JoJo in general, I especially love the fuzzy bass. The track also never gets repetitive. Keep up the great work!
@@ike3466 tooru cool too. I also like kira because even though he's a psycho, everyone can relate to wanting a quiet life, and unlike other villains he actually reacts to pain

god, best funny valentine theme ive heard. don't get me wrong, friedreich's funny valentine theme is great and it deserves all the attention it gets, but I think this one deserves to have more attention than it gets. it feels so original and creative and it really fits the character. funny valentine is a shitty, villainous person with an honorable and justifiable goal and I think you nailed that perfectly with the trumpets but also generally villainous tone of the song. I could really see his actual theme sounding a lot like this
Great job!! I was thinking you were afraid of releasing it after the success of Frederich's valentine theme, but this one is even better, trust me! Keep up the good work!
Thank you! Haven't listenned to his yet. I'm pretty sure he killed it. No competition, everything helps to our community. Let's just have fun together! 😄
Love how the beginning sounds like Diavolo's theme, and the artwork is great too. It's cool how the colours on the American flag are inverted, showing his twisted ideals hiding behind a mask of patriotism

I really like your themes, they have a lot of emotions and character, plus sound incredibly unique, i first liked how Yasuho's theme sounds straight up like a happy classy tone yet it has some confliction, this theme not only is dramatic but sounds menacing, specially with the trumpets and among other instruments, would say fits Valentine really well.
I can't believe this didn't get recommended to me or appear when I was searching for a Funny Valentine theme while reading SBR. This is way better than Frederich's Valentine theme, which was way too epic and didn't fit any of the calm and composed moments with Valentine. Plus, the random voiceline in the middle of the song kept ruining the immersion. This Valentine theme doesn't have any of that, and I feel bad for not finding it earlier.
howdy! DUDE I LOVE THIS fanmade song for Funny Valentine. Would you be okay if I used your song in one of my future videos when I have funny vs gyro and johnn? I will fully credit you and your amazing work my guy
maybe I'm just tripping, but I can hear a bit of Diavolo's theme and Freidrich Habetler's Johnny theme in there, which is quite cool, especially the part that sounds like Johnny's theme for the obvious parallel
This is some Guilty Gear-tier stuff for sure. My favorite from yours! Keep up the fabulous work
