I'm not a Jays fan but man Schneider pinch hitting Kirk has got to be one of the most boneheaded moves of the year.
And not pinch- running for Belt
If we had a pinch runner in for belt he woulda been home on that single by whit. Kirk has struggled all year with grounding out and to throw him in was idiotic.
Kirk and Belt are absolutely awful. Belt keeps on batting 3rd every game with 0 power and a .230 average.
The Mariners displayed great comeback desire and they succeeded in a dramatic fashion!

what an exciting finish to an almost quiet game. Everyone really decided to turn up the heat after the 7IS
That’s basically every Mariner victory. They might as well just start the game in the 7th inning with the M’s down a run or two.
Schneider is over managing this team. No need to sub in Kirk for Varsho. Varsho could get a grounder and at least have a chance to beat out the DP throw from second base. It was a bad move.
No way taking out Kikuchi with only 78 pitches and he was in control. You are burning out bullpen....now both Swanson and Romano will be unavailable on Sat
Teoscar with a story book type walk off of his former team is perfection. Good thing Kirk is basically a bowling ball and runs extremely slow, because anyone else on the Jays beats out that double play in the 8th. Nice to see Berroa make his debut even if it didn't go all that well.

What a game… low key one of the better rivalries in the show right now
A friend called me on the phone tonight & told me to tune into the Blue Jays game on TV because the Jays had the bases loaded with only 1 out, & that little butterball Kirk was coming into the game to pinch hit.. He Told me that Kirk would hit a ground ball into a double play to end the inning, & that would be the turning point of the game... He called me back when the game was over and we both had a good laugh...😂😂
Umpire made 8 bad calls against blue jays....2 bad calls against Mariners, but one of the 2 was just prior to Kirk DP. Announcers said Jays caught a break...but a pitch later, inning was over

Kirk is a liability unless he goes yard - which isn't happening a lot lately.
While Kolten Wong is having a lousy year at the plate he is an absolute beast on the field.

As a Canadian who's been a Mariners fan since 2001, these highlights bring me tremendous joy
Lived in Vancouver for 27 years and loved it. One of the highlights was heading down to Seattle for the Jays series with the Mariners. It was a great atmosphere and good times. I'm sure that all the fans attending this weekend are enjoying themselves and having lots of fun. Now I live back in my home province of Nova Scotia so I catch the game's highlights the next morning. It sure looks like the fun continues ... enjoy!😄
kikuchi has really been improving as the season goes on

Kikuchi didn't give up any runs today and it wasn't a bad pitching, but if he had been able to eat a few more innings the Blue Jays could have won without consuming the bullpen. I look forward to seeing him next time.🤞

This is the type of game we saw from the Ms the last few years but was missing this season. Maybe this will be that game that turns them around. I sure hope so, we're better than a 500 team.

This game had the same feeling of when they started to turn it around last year. Teo has had an excellent couple of games, and the walk-off vibe had a bit of different “feel” to it yesterday.

His ERA is way higher in tie situation compared to when jays are leading. But JS didnt know that
@@bensona7089 yep I believe he lost the last 3 games where he has gone in with a tie. When Romano is on the mound I cannot even watch it. Even if he wins .. it is usually after making it close with guys on base or having a couple of guys hit the ball to the warning track. He has a good record but honestly think he is very lucky to have that.
I really hate how they tried to push this animosity/revenge narrative. Toronto loves Teo, and Teo loves Toronto.

I feel so sorry for Kikuchi. Last year he was losing games because he himself was struggling as a pitcher. This year he is pitching very well but just does not get the support from his offense and bullpen. I know he didn't get the loss here, but he sure deserved the win.
Also, everytime I see Bichette, he strikes out on a low and outside slider or similar sharp breaking ball. He should know this and not mindlessly swing at those balls when he has a 2-strike count. I mean sure, major league pitchers can fool a batter with a good breaking ball occasionally, but if Bichette is such a good batter as the announcers tell me every time he comes at bat, he should not be fooled as many times as he is by the same kind of pitch.
Don’t feel bad , he was an All star pitcher for the mariners, after the break it was all downhill for him. I always liked him as a player he will figure it out 👍🏼

Was at this game and the Blue Jays as typical were out and about. Unfortunately for them when the energy started to turn the vibe in the stadium went all the mariners way. Clutch double play inning to prevent a run turned the tide. Teo got to give the finger to his old team with the walk off winner. what a game. Our neighbors to the north even joined in to boo Springer.

기쿠치도 토론토 내외야수 잘 했다. 단지 시애틀이 분할해 밀린 것. 기쿠치는 심리적으로 안정되면 정말 좋은 투수야. 그 안정선을 이미 6월 초 넘었어. 보증 수표인 투수인 것이지. 상승 추세인 기쿠치 믿고 92~94개까진 던지게 해 줘야 해. 오타니 뿐만이 아니라 기쿠치 팬도 한국에서 두텀다고 봐. 기쿠치가 괜찮은 시기에 한국도 방문해 주면 좋겠다.
