1. Drag design onto mockup
2. Convert to smart object
3. Ctrl+T size down
4. Blend mode: Screen (black tee)
5. Opacity: 80%
6. Duplicate shirt layer & drag above design layer
7. Alt click to link those 2 layers (Shadow)
8. Blend mode: Multiply
9. Image>Adjustments>Levels - Drag cursor on the right to the left until good.
10. White shirt? Reverse - Multiply, then screen, then drag left cursor to right.

hey i just found you on youtube amazing stuff like suoer find amazing!!!!!! Just what the dr ordered. i am having trouble with my t-shirt mockups when i transfer my image onto a my mockup in photoshop the image becomes pixeled and i am missing a few steps i guess it would be easier using your t shirt mockuops. but i just would love to know the steps to do to get the mockup ready for to do what your doing? sorry i am awful explaining what i want.

Thanx bro💪🏻🔥 But how do you put a design on a dark or light colour t shirt? Like glazed green or light blue.
Amazing mate, so much easier and better than every other tutorial i've watched on this. The only thing i'd ask is if there is a way to make it slightly brighter as it's a little more dull on some mockups.
There is, you could add a curve layer to the same layer that has the level layer, that tool is also found in the adjustment panel under “curves” but tbh sometimes the duller designs are nice cause they make it look more faded and realistic to what the print will actually come out like, so I usually skip this step

when i use screen blend mode on the the black tee for some reason it goes very bright and faded , not like how you did it ? is there some settings i have on ?

Hold down Alt (Option in Mac OS), position the pointer over the line dividing two layers in the Layers panel (the pointer changes to two overlapping circles), and then click.

Pro Tip: If u have colored tee's -> Black/White the shadow layer first and then use Levels

Before you size it down, you convert the layer to smart object. It’s in the video.

@@IntuitiveDesigns I had been struggling to make my own mockups instead of relying on Placeit, and I think I was overcomplicating it, but this simple algorithm of yours achieved very good results that even a novice like me can do easily, thanks again!
@@IntuitiveDesigns Hmm, though having spent some time applying this, it seems like I now need a technique for dealing with mockups where the folds of the shirt are so great that adjusting the shadows alone isn't enough, and the trajectory of the design actually has to be adjusted. Is there a similarly easily applied technique for those situations? Thanks again!
