I went to Bali for the first time at end of January with my adult daughter for my 60th birthday 😊 Spent 6 days in Seminyak, and 6 days in Ubud. Was a wonderful cultural experience. So different to Australia 😅 Was talked in to flying Jetstar by travel agent. Virgin only flies Adelaide to Bali twice a week. Jetstar flies twice a day 😮

Lovely little summary of Bali. I’ve been many, many times. Perth to Bali is cheaper than my commute home from Perth to Sydney. 😄😄

My boyfriend actually went to Bali just then for a week of a holiday with his boys and I’m home alone and my friends are busy so now I’m like not sure if I’m feeling alone or should enjoy time on my own! i do a lot of bali trips, those c100 drinks (especially the orange one) are so good! i take two with me for the flight back home, they are so good for a little energy boost ☺️
Oh my gosh! I need to try these C100 drinks, do you just get them from the mini mart? They sound perfect for the red eye home

I think in life you need to do things. That takes you out of your comfort zone. That way, you can discover experiences. This year, for me, l am doing a solo trip to Japan.

I can totally relate to doing things on your own and understand what you are trying to say. We have an In Balance fitness centre near me in Melbourne lol. Question, how do you pack cute shirts so they dont need Ironing? you always look impeccably put together and l need to know your secret. Thanks for sharing 😊
No way I’ll have to visit the one in Melbourne too! Haha thank you - I usually iron my clothes if I can be bothered if I just pick outfits where the material doesn’t need ironing if I’m feeling lazy!

Awesome vid brie! Just wondering if you get a larger allowance for international layovers compared to domestic layovers?
Great question, the payment structure has recently changed so it’s now depending on how long you are on a layover for. Usually the international destinations you have a longer layover time, so I guess you will be making more money
You always seem to get assigned the best hotel rooms! What is your secret? (I always seem to get the worst!)
Being a cabin manager helps I think! But there are definitely better rooms than this one!
So glad you posted this!! Totally resonate with the nervous feeling. I am going on a cruise in July to Singapore and we stop and Bali and Lombok. I am so nervous about the stops I am considering not getting off the ship!! I know I have to push myself though. Any tips? what was you getting hassled about? I'm travelling solo too. Did you find the currency confusing? I would love to visit that pool you went too. Although what do you do with belongings while swimming? do they have lockers? Can you sense my nerves!!
Dare I say I know you wanted to get home but what a bonus having another night. Do you prepare for unexpected delays and cancellations when you pack?
No definitely get off the ship when you get to Bali. It is such an incredible place and the people are actually so so lovely and accommodating.(Minus the ones hassling me). I was mostly getting hassled about eating at certain restaurants. I had a man stand in front of me and try to force me to go eat at one of the restaurants on the beach which was quite intimidating. I also got propose to twice and asked out once LOL all in the space of 20 minutes. The currency is super easy to understand especially if you are from Australia. I always just minus 2 zeros off the end of their currency and that’s usually equivalent to the Australian dollar. Yes they had lockers at the place we went to for swimming hundred percent would recommend that place. Haha in terms of unexpected delays and cancellations - I’m an overpacker so I always have enough clothes LOL

Hey there, unfortunately I can’t share the name of the hotel as it is a security issue for myself and the other crew that stay there. I’m sure you understand :)
when you apply to be a flight attendant domestically does it also give you a shot as flying internationally or is it strictly domestic?
With my airline is it domestic and short haul international :) each airline might be a bit different
