I love it! You’ve proven a point that I’ve always wanted to prove to bass fisherman..when you hook a big one you don’t have to do all that nonsense of bending your knees and workin the rod this way and that way, or runnin back and forth from the front of the boat to the back..just reel it in, play it out, reel em in, geez..no need for the theatrics lmao

I'd say that was a win all across the board, because beautiful scenery and time with friends and family rules everytime.
Glad y'all got to come visit down south, that's better than sitting around waiting for the weather to change up north any day.
Glade to see I'm not the only one to hand the ole man the pole so he had a chance to catch a bass or twenty in his old man stage.
Funny now it's me in that stage, and the grand kids hand me the pole with a blue gill full of red worms.
The never ending circle of life continues.
Y'all be safe, and stay well.
If you ever want to see something beautiful, take a trip to Caddo Lake up in far northeast Texas.
Only true natural lake in Texas, full of more cypress trees than you've ever seen in one place, and average of 8' across the entire body of water.
Was created by a flood on the Red River, and supposedly wiped out the entire tribe of Caddo Indians that was caught off gard one night during a bad storm.
Story goes that it rained so much, that it caused a major log jam across the river, and it backed up flooding the area they had their village in one night with no way of escaping.
That's what I've always been told, and what's in the history books.
Along with local folklore, and backed up by archeology studies of the region.
