I really like this trope too! Two books I’d recommend are Unloved by Katy Regnery and A Notorious Vow by Joanna Shupe. If you liked Archer’s Voice, you’d really like Unloved. The male lead here is the son of a serial murderer and he lives off the grid to prevent his “violent nature” from surfacing when he’s in contact with humanity. Unfortunately for him, he’s enamored with a poor woman who was attacked near the area where he lives. The guy’s pretty much a cinnamon roll hero and he’s totally head over heels for the heroine. In A Notorious Vow, a London-born lady agrees to a year-long marriage with her hermit of a neighbor-a deaf multimillionaire with a penchant for inventing-in order to escape her tyrannical parents and a horrid engagement with a man four times her age. So, marriage of convenience historical romance with some forced proximity.
Quick correction: in Archer's Voice, Archer is not deaf, his vocal cords were permanently damaged, so he can't talk but can hear. He does use sign language though, because it is more efficient than writing out what he wants to say. I really want to try Most of All You based on your review. 🥰🥰
