"When you're with the right person and you're both into it, there no such thing as bad at sex, and it's perfectly fine even if both sides are virgins" THANK YOU for making this point. Loved it and I could not agree more❤ I've read and loved so many of the books you mentioned in this video and I can't believe I didn't even realize many of them had virgin heroes! 😍Really enjoyed this video so much. Also, I picked up the Fae king's Curse on your recommendation and I absolutely ADORED it. I read the prequel too and can't wait for the next book in the series. Wish more people read it! Thanks Jen for all the best recommendedations, you're amazing 😘😘
That makes me so happy! Yes, I love when people can figure things out together. Sexual experience is different for each person anyway. So... I get annoyed when people are treated poorly for either. So glad you tried the Fae King's curse!!!
I love this trope so much! My favourites by far are Duchess War, Unclaimed, and This Wicked Gift by Courtney Milan, Dark Needs At Night's Edge by Kresley Cole (I am so glad I'm reading this series!), Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne, The Texan's Wager by Jodi Thomas, and Love In the Wild by Emma Castle. And I am so glad to have more recommendations like this 🙂 I really need to start the Psy-Changeling and Bridgerton series' now.
You know this is your favorite trope and catnip when you already know all about these books lol. 😂 I’m so glad you appreciate this trope as much as I do! And I’m definitely gonna look into the comments below for more recs! 🥰
Virgin heroes 😍 I love how all of the Psy do all kinds of research on sex once they meet their mates! Overachievers 😂 Can't wait to read Love in the Wild. Transcendence made me cry too! Ehd is such a sweetheart. All the feels!
Some of my fav books that have a virgin hero are The Spitfire by Christi Caldwell (historical) and Hefty by Jessa Kane (novella). Both have the cutest cinnamon roll hero’s which I love!
Omg I took your advice from another video and read the book untouchable... Five star easily. One of my favorites of the year. Love Carter!!! Thanks for the recommendation
New subscriber! I found you through Jessica (PeaceLoveBooks) and I absolutely love your content. I also found you on goodreads and I must ask how you’ve managed to surpass your reading goal I’m so amazed 😂
Hello and welcome! Jess is amazing and I am so grateful to her! I actually recently made a video about how I have read 500+ books this year. It was earlier in October.. But the quick answer is that I read in many formats and COVID has kept me home for 9 months... haha. I have no life.
I paused the video, went and read The Fae King’s Curse, and came back to say, i loved it. It was so sweet. That whole, i don’t care about my eyes, i just want you, thing, was everything. So thanks for the recommendation.
You know every time I hear you talk about Outlander it makes me wanna read the series so much! But then I start thinking about how there's a lot of books in the series and about how long they all are and I get discouraged. It's really intimidating! Thanks for making this video because I love virgin heroes but there's barely any of them! They're such a rare species 😆. Love you 🧡
I totally understand that. The plus side is, the first book really can be read a s a standalone. So you could just start there and see how it goes by for you. And she does break all of her books into Parts, so it is digestible. Maybe if you read it on ebook it wouldn't be as overwhelming?
@@TheBookRefuge Heyyyy so I took your advice and bought it on Kindle. You're probably right in saying that it may be a way for me to stop worrying about the number of pages. I'll start reading it soon!! I'm kinda excited! Hope I love it 😇
Enjoyed this. I wonder if you know the title to a book about a virgin widow who was sexually abused by her first husband who wanted her to bear heirs through his illegitimate son and nd when he died she didn't want to have anything to do with men.
For the first book. Do I have to read the first 3 books before? Or the Bridgerton series to understand? Also a question. A lot of people recommend historical romance books that are like the 3rd or 4th in a series. Is it always necessary to read the books before it or can we read them as a stand alone?
In general, Historical Romance series can be read in any order. There will probably be slight spoilers for previous couples in the series (i.e. who ends up together.) But in romance... people getting together isn't exactly a spoiler. Haha! So it's really up to you as the reader if you care. Because each story itself will have all the info it needs to work.:)
LOLs. I love the women and I will always be a fan, but she is a romance snob. I think she just doesn't want her story pigeon-holed. But I understand that, since Romance never gets enough respect. But her book was runner up for the greatest read... so who cares where it fits? Its awesome
@@TheBookRefuge NGL she cracks me up. Whenever I'm in a bookstore it's fun to see where they have placed them. Some have them in Romance. Some in General Fiction (??). I'm looking forward to Fated Mates covering it this season! Friends who have only watched the show are shocked to hear it too. Or that Scottish Historicals don't sell as much (this fact still saddens me so).

I totally read that book because of you and Juliette. I had been dragging my feet and it made me cry so much,
I havent watched the whole video but what book is 'Psy' in??
@@ly__chee Psy is a species in Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling series. In Caressed by Ice, Judd is a Psy with a wolf changeling (shifter) mate.

@@TheBookRefuge I just realized it’s The Spitfire by Christi Caldwell that has the Virgin hero. The Vixen is another book in the series haha
Thanks for recommending Hefty. I liked it.
I'm so excited for this 🥰😍 i love a virgin hero!!
Love, love, love a virgin hero. Thanks for the recs!
Virgins are underrated
In real life and in fiction
I'm a real life Virgin Hero 😂
The Highwayman 🥰🥰🥰 i love Dorian so much! And now I need to read First Comes Scandal 😆
YESSS! This has become one of my favorite tropes/things in romance 🙌

I am on Pleasure of a Dark Prince and ahh the blooding scenes for the vampires are always so amazing

I laughed so much at Clare’s boys and their interactions with Tristan
Do enjoy your videos. Especially your deep dive re TL Swan books. I listenened to your recommendation The TakeoverI laughe
ahhhh I am reading Caressed by Ice right now and very excited to get further into the relationship with Judd and Brenna
I love an Icy hero or heroine. Judd doesn't have a choice but I love watching them crumble and come back together.
Hi jenn you definitely give me new authors to check out i am going to look for caressed by ice
Good morning. I read Jock Row and I loved loved loved loved it 💕💕💕
Stolen soulmate by Mary Catherine gebhard is also a virgin hero book...it is fantastic, I highly recommend it
yaaasss love virgin heroes!!
I’m so here for this video!!!

It was so cute!!! Ehd made me swoon!
Ohhh wait is the guy on the cover of The Fae King's curse the same guy on the cover of Love in the Wild? 🤔
Hell yes it is! That model is on a whole slew of books. I have found another 2 with the same cover model recently too

Just a heads up Jock Hero does not have a virgin hero. It's a great book, but it had a virgin heroine and experienced hero.
Yes, I did say Jock Row in the video, on accident. Jock ROAD has a virgin hero. Which is book 3 in the series. Oops!
Veil of vines Tillie Cole (Virgin Hero)
Jock Row: Scarlett is the virgin, not Rowdy
YESSSSS
