I have 2 of these and they have been great chargers for my whoop batteries. The storage charge option alone is worth buying it for. Being able to charge from a usb c pd battery bank really makes field charging more convenient as well.
Best thing for Whoops and Nano Quads.😁 V3 is the best to carry in your pocket and it remembers your settings. 👌🏽 V2 had a switch that has bent it in backpack.
After flying DJI products my entire journey, I appreciate this charger! I jumped into non-DJI drones & was paranoid about the batteries and charging/discharging. This makes it simple for me to use with confidence! Prior to this video I was not confident i knew what I was doing. I am all set now!
I saw your video of the Whoopstor V2, then out of stock everywhere, after a while i saw Whoopstor V3, got one and cant be more happy about, truly excellent!
@@aqua_sakura5021 at the Moment i wrote that comment there was no review. By now there is one and fair to say since then I have the pocket and Whoopstor 3 in my inventory 😆
Pocket is underrated. Most people I see online strictly use the pocket over the larger more expensive Ones. I got one too and the gimbals feel great and give you precise control.
I have had mine for a month now and i am very happy with it. There is one MISSING FUNCTION for it to be my perfect charger : it doesn't show the lipo internal resistance which would help assess the health of the battery. I charge on USB C and I am limited to 0.6 A amps max charge (more than enough but just spreading the info). Maybe it's just my wall adapter that's rated 9v and 1.67 Amps and the charger can do more on usb C.
I would love to see a case released for the whoopstor 2. Mine works perfectly, but stuff does tend to get inside between the plates when in the bag or out in the field.
Two things, in discharge, it sets to a max of .3 I believe. I love it, only one minor complaint, the ph connectors are too loose, but they still function.
Love your content and energy Man, you are a legend for doing all this amazing work for us. I love your excitement showings these products to us!! You are SO thorough and genuine!
Ha, first time I bought something blindly before Bardwell did a review on it lol, my WhoopStor 3 has charged/storage charged about 70 packs and it is performing excellent
The V3 is very good but you didnt mention that it does hold the current and voltage value in memory. If you use it the next time, you dont have to set it every time. Thats really setting it apart from the V2. And only 2 buttons ❤
I have v2 and to be honest there are no reasons to swap to v3 if someone has v2 already. Switches are pretty straight forward for me, changing current too.
Just got the V3. Great little 1s charger. Plugs right into my 24v powersupply via XT60. The screen is tiny, but it's CLEAR. Go buy one! Use someone's affiliate link.
I have a question, i bought this Whoopstore V3 couple of days ago. I wonder is there a way i can make an adapter to use 2 channel at once to charge 2s tiny whoop batteries ?

V3 is very good. But i have big problem. I see discharge voltage protect is 3.5v/cell on input port. I use Lion battery for supply power. Lion battery can discharge to 2.6vol. But the charger shutoff when voltage is 3.5vol/cell. Please help me setting on this case. Thank you so much
Hi J.B I believe there is some knockoffs out there being advertised as Vifly on eBay, I just ordered one then realised it’s a knockoff so I’ve ordered one from my local FPV store, will be comparing the og & knockoff
Wouldn'g it be cool if there was a 4 port version of this for either 4s or 6s batteries that uses only the balance tap? Set the current and select either "charge" or "storage charge" and simply connect a battery via balance tap as needed.
I have v2 and to be honest there are no reasons to swap to v3 if someone has v2 already. Switches are pretty straight forward for me, changing current too.
You showed what to set the charger for 1 cell when charging for storage but what do you set the charger for when charging the battery for actual usage? Yes I am a newbie and I bought this charger for the batteries for my emax tiny Hawke 3 hdzero rtf kit that I just got a week ago. Hope I can learn fpv, 🤞🏻.
....anyone else want more info on his tiny whoop "go bag"? I've been looking for a small hard case to put all my whoops in. That GoPro bag (what is it?) looks pretty good!
I always charge my 1s all the same MAH, together. if I have 380s and 450s, I charge them separately. Can I charge them or put them in storage at the same time, or continue to do them in like batches?
Hi Joshua … just came across this video unit looks impressive. Just wondering 💭 and it’s a newbie question will this do 2s batteries as well? As I got the pavo pico batch 2 and looking for a good charger please. Again sorry for the newbie question we all have to start somewhere. Have a good weekend
@@JoshuaBardwell sorry would you recommend any? I got this off BETAFPV but it was colour black. BT2.0 Battery Charger and Voltage Tester V2. Not sure if it’s working. By the diagram it should show b-1 = and b-2 = and then all 4.24 . Sorry just after looking at your Lipo video where you have the helmet on . Thanks for replying
I like it, but it can't do .3amps on one plug .4 amps on another plug .5 amps on another lipo one another and lihv on another. while my really old UP-S6 charger does do that and its just as portable. I do like storage charge though it keeps my tortured whoop batteries from puffing so badly :)
Will A30 packs plug into this charger? I know it says BT2.0, but if the little guide tabs are small enough, or the connector a bit flexible, A30s can fit.
I have an idea for a product, for battery management. Who would you recommend I talk to try and bring this idea of the market, or at the very least see if it's viable?
Unless you are putting up money to develop and manufacture the product, its unlikely most manufacturers would take the risk. Unless it's an exceptionally good and novel idea.
i got a 6s lipo for my goggles, is it bad that its always fully charged/i dont storagecharge them. i mean i will not fly with it but will it be ok to use it like that for my goggles? or will the battery get destroyed really quick?
If after every flying session you fully charge it again, then it's not a good idea. Depending on how long it's fully charged until you use it again. A day before isn't bad, but if it's always nearly lying fully charged for a week, not good for the Lipo. My tip: set you charger to only charge it up to about 4.05V. That will make it a little safer and prolong the battery life. Alternative get a LiIon 4S 18650 battery pack. More safe
Love my v2, it's the only thing that allows us to balance our 1s batteries. I used to connect an overcharged battery with an undercharged battery to balance them.
The DC plug is the same as the goggle plug, I use my fatshark battery to storage mode (what I called balance in previous comments) my batteries. It allows me to fly my batteries down more, I used to just try to unplug from the drone as close to 3.85 as possible, then I would connect slightly overcharged ones in parallel with slightly umdercharged ones to put them to the right voltage.
Hey I am new to building fpv drones. Is a higher or lower pitch prop more eficient? If you have a video talking about prop types, I'd love to watch it!
When I think something is the best, I won't shy away from saying it, just because it triggers some people's click-bait alarm. I stand by my picks. Since March, 2022, I have declared a "best" product in a category 10 times. In only one of those categories did I override a previous recommendation within that time period. For example, I only declared one "best 3D printer" in that time; one "best FPV goggle" in that time; etc. So, to put it another way, I declare a new "best" item in a category less than once every 18 months.
