As a Toronto resident, I feel like you missed the target on this one. Love all your videos, but spending less than 5 minutes of the video outside of St. Lawrence fails to show the city. The best food in the city isn’t in that market. Cool? Yes. Worth 75% of the video? No.
Completely agree. The review spent too much time talking about the market and transportation...seriously. Toronto is a great city, but this “travel guide” did not convince me 😕
To be honest may like many other North Americans cities , it has many interesting things but nothing unique ( Same culture, architecture, international food ) As he said a pratical City!
What about exploring Kensington Market? Sailing at Harbourfront? Dining in Yorkville? Shopping on Queen Street? Hanging out at the Annex? Date night at the Distillery District? Bar/club-hopping on King Street? Picnics at Trinity Bellwoods Park? I love Attaché, but this wasn’t a guide to my city, instead just a glimpse into St. Lawrence Market :(
I went to Toronto for the first time a couple months ago. And I was blown away by it's diversity and food scene. A much cleaner, laid back version of NYC, loved it! 🙌🏾
hows spending 90% of the video in st lawrence market a representration of toronto? and unlike what this dude claims, st lawrence market is a total tourist trap.
As a resident of Toronto who has been living there for over 20 years. I think you missed some places. Yes, the St. Lawrence market is nice but there's a lot more places in Toronto to see whether it's for sightseeing, food, etc. Distillery district, financial district, harbour front, high park, and many more unique places could have been mentioned. Also depending on the season, especially Winter, skating is big. During summer, a lot of ethnic festivals such as the Taste of Danforth, Taste of Lawrence, etc. Also this City is expensive to live in (especially Downtown Toronto). If you're a single person, even making 80-90K while living downtown, you can get away with paying for necessities such as food, rent (assuming you live in a condo or a clean apartment). If you own a car, you won't be able to save a lot of money unless of course you live with a partner and/or your spouse who makes similar amount or more. Houses in Toronto are easily over 850K to a mill. For tourists, if you're here for a few days, you can get around and you won't feel it on your wallet.
Though in my opinion, not the best city in the world, BUT it is a great one. I just flew in from LAX to YYZ (Toronto) and I felt home as soon as we reached and can see Toronto skyline from a distance. The best feeling when you know you're home and feel love for the place who accepts and embraces different people from different background and that is TORONTO.
I do wish you covered more on the sights and other attractions, like museums some of us history and war buffs would like or other interesting sites, but I still love your videos, they never seem to stop me getting excited to travel again 😁👍🏼
While I enjoyed the food focus of this video, I felt it left out the usual wider range of topics that Attache usually covers when visiting a city. Definitely need a Part 2 for this one.
Beautiful visuals and editing, but lacks substance. The video highlighted the airports, TTC and the majority of the time is spent in the St. Lawrence market (tourist trap), which barely scratches the surface of Toronto. Props for showing a few shots of Casa Loma and Chinatown but no reference in the script . As a Torontoian, this travel guide is an epic fail! Kevin is a great ambassador though.
You guys are fantastic. I love how organized your videos are into the subtopics (transport, food, money). Your presentation is focused and concise with admirable quality (with a good sense of humor). That said, a lot of folks out here are complaining about the focus on St. Lawrence Market, but from a business perspective it makes sense. Most travelers to the city will not venture far from areas around Yonge or Bay streets, and they will often be steered toward the market as it is conveniently close. Yes, it is touristy, but I think any experienced traveler knows that it is merely a convenient and good place to start. Those with more time will probably learn that there are gems to be found by venturing away from the high-rise canyons of Bay, Yonge & Bloor to areas in the city's old east and west ends, where Toronto's culinary diversity shines. Meanwhile, keep up the good work.
Low effort video that bearly shows Toronto only covers st. Lawrence Market and not the rest of the city. I am generally a fan of Attache, but they dropped the ball hard on this video

I dig that this is a hobby for you, and your primary gig is something else, and you've gotta decide how to spend your time and money, but *I'll* miss these if you don't continue to make them
I generally like your videos, but this one seemed too limited. You showed one place in Toronto (St. Lawrence Market)? Toronto has the largest Chinese population outside of China and you didn't mention Chinatown? Queen Street West? High Park? Toronto Islands? Distillery District? etc., etc. The peameal bacon sandwich? Really? I've never had one.
Toronto is nice but do Montreal too for it's uniqueness , language - french, architecture -spiral outside staircase , historical old Montreal , festivals.etc . And Quebec city the only walled city north of Mexico.
I'm so happy you did this! This made my day. As a longtime resident of the Toronto area, I really enjoyed the local music you included, your characteristic beautiful shooting and the places you picked to highlight were places that both tourists and locals love. I'm so happy it won you over. You're welcome back any time. :)
Good review - fair assessment. I live here, and have done so for over 30 years. It is a constantly changing city and it has problems to be sure but the amount of integration and welcoming of people from around the world is one of the best aspects of this city. There is lots of good food here and a wide array of entertainment. A walkable city albeit crowded in the core and it can be damn hot in the summer and bitterly cold in the winter. For the heat perhaps Toronto is not as bad as cities such as Tokyo but you can escape the heat (and winter cold) by using the underground PATH system, a network of tunnels and underground plazas that stretch from the lakefront all the way north to Dundas street. Hearing the TTC described in a good way grates a bit as it can be one of the most frustrating experiences of life in Toronto but it is possible to travel across the length and breadth of the city with one ticket which is far cheaper than other cities such as London, Paris, Tokyo, and other cities where you have to use a ticket or IC card to enter and exit the system. The Presto card is used once to enter the system and again if you have to transfer from a bus to a subway (or vice versa) but you have a time of about two hours so you can actually exit the system and then return without having to pay an additional fare. A good way to get a sense of what Toronto is like, if not actually visiting, is through the local media, particularly the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Such programs as the radio show Metro Morning provide insights into what is going on here, what life is like, and what is generally of interest. For food, check out the critic Suresh Dosh on Metro Morning. He will take you to many wonderful and interesting restaurants, and tells a story about the origins of the places he profiles.
I'm gonna be honest, there isn't a hell of a lot to see or do here. Toronto may seem big but its really not, outside of the downtown core it's just sprawling, unremarkable, suburbia. Come for a few days, eat some food in chinatown and st lawrence market, see Toronto island (surprised this wasn't mentioned, it's one of the few this worth seeing), go up the CN tower (only if you reeeally want to), see the distillery district, and maybe go see casa loma (not worth in my opinion but your mileage may vary). Other than that I struggle to recommend anything else. Its really cool if you haven't been to many cities, but compared to any other major city Toronto kinda just leaves you with the feeling of "that's it?". If you are going to come here, just manage your expectations. You'll have a much better time that way. If you have any questions or want to express agreement/disagreement with what I've said, I encourage you to reply to this comment. I'd love to hear other peoples experiences of Toronto.
As much as it hurts me to say it, I have to say that I think I agree with you. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the time I spent in Toronto, but I did struggle to find things to do after a while. Fortunately I had reserved a rental car to drive down to Niagara, and was able to arrange to pick it up earlier than originally planned! That said, it's possible that I hadn't done enough research before I arrived, so maybe there are things I missed.
As a lifelong resident, the city has loads of interesting neighborhoods outside the core. Leave that for the tourists. Our food scene is also incredible thanks to our remarkable diversity. I've been to 35 countries on 5 continents and still love my city.

Thanks, we love doing what we do!
love that you guys found Kozlik's Mustard! as someone who loves sandwiches with mustard on them, that business is like heaven on earth for me. amazing flavours and quality!
other than that, have to agree with some of the other comments... very thin episode content wise.
My hometown! Thank you Attache!
Thanks you...Toronto is a great city...
It really is, I love it.
You should come review Tel Aviv, Israel! It'll be one of the most unique videos on the channel, no doubt.
I was there very recently. A very interesting city for sure!
@@attachetravel do you have a Tel Aviv video coming out soon?
It’s impossible to do Toronto justice in 17:18 (actually less, cause of your sponsor plug in), but it was very well done! Thank you. Can you do Manila, Philippines next????? Or at least tell me it’s in your radar
Idk if you consider yourself a journalist or not but, if you do - even though you don’t particularly care for Toronto - I think even you could agree that might’ve failed to capture the essence here.
Great video, as always, and I’m so glad you gave it a chance and loved it! Just wished you guys covered the food a little better, and ventured outside of St Lawrence. Might’ve dove into Kensington Market, maybe?
The Raid integration caught me off guard. I love it!
This vlog made me want to live here!!!
Ca you do a travel guide on Jacksonville Florida dispute what people say or think about Jacksonville it’s doesn’t get the love and respect that it deserves
Amazing stuff as usual!!! Can't wait to see what's next
My home city! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wrong, I personally loathe mustard!! / that was another great vid Attaché.
BLASPHEMY!
(thanks for the kind words)
Another great guide!
God I love seeing a new attache clip. Montreal next would be awesome
Toronto looks amazing. I love the NYC vibes it gives off!
NYC vibes? Time for Toronto to have it's own vibes like Montréal !
Toronto is an incredible city to visit. :)
Very good video. To keep food costs down, I would recommend the street hot dog vendors.
Dude. That was a pretty long ad
Yay! Finally
Love the Rush in the video!!!
Haha I invited you guys so many times! Glad ya went.
Toronto feels like the best of North America combined with the best of Europe.
That's a fair assessment, yeah.
Should be talking about Montreal. Toronto is more like a standard north american city
A+++ Scott Pilgrim usage.
Best travel show ever ❤️please make a video on Vienna
Would you ever do an episode on how you make an episode or a Q&A?
Yes! In fact, if there's enough interest we can definitely do an AMA.
Been all over Europe, Asia and North America. Canada, for some reason, has the best food of all the places I've visited.
Dude - I like your videos - but the ad - cmon...
Ontario!!!!
w00t! 🇨🇦
Home sweet home
Terminal 2 at YYZ still exists but it’s only for cargo now
Great video! Can you feature Montreal please?
Definitely on the list!
In Summer and after the renovation of Ste Catherine street .
Vancouver > Toronto
Are you able to spend cash in Toronto? I don’t use plastic at all!
