Dude, you encouraged me to get back on my bike and race after 20 years of not racing. I get to build credibility with my kids as I encourage them in their racing journey. Also, I appreciate the vulnerability because the feelings are real whether you are 5 or 35. Keep it up, you are encouraging generations as a father, husband and athlete.
Same here. Been cycling/triathlon for years. Literally just went and busted out a pump track session the other day(same one in Buffalo you rode Barry) Boy lemme tell ya, that fast twitch muscle has fallen by the wayside with all this endurace ridin over the years. I was SMOKED hahaha. Next season I will return to my first love. Racin BMX💪 Good luck Adam. Thanks for bein awesome Barry
You can see Barry's expectations of himself are so high. He is riding awesome and still feels like it's not enough. That shows me how driven this man is! Great video!
Thank you very much for making and for sharing the video. REALLY GREAT work. Congrats on the win! Good luck with the going fast. Viewing from New York City. Run away baby..indeed!
You guys always film the races so good, it's always action packed. I got a new race bike, going to get back into riding at 41 years old, get back into shape and what not. These videos totally inspired me to get back out in the world, thank you Barry "the bat" Nobles.
Great win Barry! You put it all together. Thanks for reminder about the mental game. It's cool to watch you get back into bmx and the positive attitude you maintain. You definitely are a role model for all riders! Thank you.
@2:10 I saw 'Flyin' Brian Lopez jersey up there on the wall. I was hoping to see his early Pro jersey with his ELF sponsor. ELF, in my opinion, is what really propelled Brian and many other riders to stardom. Of course racing is 90% rider but without the support of a good team I've seen many great riders drop out of the sport.
I thought I noticed it a little last year in Houston as well. I could be completely wrong though. I can’t help but think that you were having such a chill week helping out with the camp that you just carried that mindset over to the weekend. Just a thought.
man i used to race all over the country from 2009-2013 and loved watching you race! I feel like I watched you do a back flip over a pro set once but maybe that was someone else lol. Seeing you still out there killing it has me want to get back out there myself even if its just to ride locals. Would you recommend the 2022 chase element complete?
i use to have a diamondback viper way back in the 90s really wished i raced one regret i have in life. im just too old now Lol i get winded on my mountain bike in the easy gear. looks so much fun though
I think you should show were or what happened during the race that you should or could have been better and how to fix those issues so up incoming rides the correct or different options you might have so you can at least stay in your place and not get passed. Can you please go over on how to snap the gate. I see a lot of rider's doing what they think is snapping the gate but actually slowing them down out of the gate. I hope you can kinda understand what I am saying . this is just on the spot idea I had and maybe help with your already Kila content .
@@barrynobles95 hey man my kids love u bro saying daddy one day I'ma be as fast as him 😂😂😂😂 i said takes practice, but just got a chase edge pro XL can't wait to hit up Egg Harbor NJ

Very driven but I seem to not do as well when I take it too serious. Gotta find the balance to keep it fun too!
I pray for you and your family every day..As an old bmxer I am, you motivate me to still be in bmx, thanks about many tips I ve learned from you...
Your videos also encouraged me to get back on the track after 20 years. That first gate felt exactly as I remembered!
I couldn’t agree more, 20 years later I’m back on it too, with my two kids and my dad.
Thank you very much for making and for sharing the video.

That's how you get your head into the game 🤯 Nice one Barry. Q. Is this where The Grands are gonna be from now on?

Barry, how do you mount your Go 2 to your visor? Just got a Go 2 and plan to use it for me and my 4yr old daughter's racing.
I need to take advantage of this track being 30 mins from home and get back on the bike after 5 years
where do you mount your gopro on you helmet, im curious because i also have a fly werx and i haven't seen many mount positions for it
It’s actually an Insta360 camera under my visor
👊🇧🇷
hey what you think 🤔 48t/16
Bro i mean Mr Barry hey man ever think about making a movie based on your journey that'll be cool
I have a mini doco here in my channel. But yes telling the story would be enjoyable.
