Just got back from a year long stay in Siberia. Only shock I had was how flipping hot the summer is, We're talking like hotter than Florida. Winter is actually very nice because because it's a dry cold unlike in the UK where the cold sticks to your skin from all the humidity.

The bacteria may go dormant but it wont be denatured and destroyed usually. Freezing is great to stop bacteria from growing in numbers but it doesn't destroy bacteria.

I live in Fargo, North Dakota and we have 3 doors in our apartments before we are inside our apartment. I love that they heat between the first and second. When you go through that first door, it is so comfy and warm.

I myself live and study in Saint-Petersburg. FYI SPb has much more people mobilized, in comparison with all the Siberian regions.
However what happens in Ukraine we barely can call a peaceful life. Mass mobilizations of male population in the eastern regions, several defeats on the frontline and new Russian offensive is not a "peace" for Ukraine. Especially when the half of it's citizens fled the country. How is Ukraine's government is going to act in order to deal with it? Mobilize even more men! Am I not right?

@@casper6014I live in Siberia my whole life and can speak only for myself and my social circle, but no one from my friend, acquaintances or relatives got conscripted during mobilization, only a few of them got to serve under the contract after mobilisation, but that's it.
American here. This didn't shock me at all, this is exactly what I expect from Siberia.

I live in Fargo, North Dakota and we have 3 doors in our apartments before we are inside our apartment. I love that they heat between the first and second. When you go through that first door, it is so comfy and warm.
