GLAMIS - Do YOU Avoid the Dunes? Learning How To Pick Lines! Driving a Built Out Polaris RZR Turbo
Вставка
- Опубліковано 14 жов 2024
- A little overdue... Our last day in Glamis for the 2021 Season. In this video I attempt to teach Haley how to pick lines on a busy weekend. Most of which involves simply looking ahead and connecting the dots ( dunes ) two or three turns ahead of time. It was Sunday and the dunes were pretty empty, a perfect time to build some confidence behind the wheel! See you all out there for the start of the 2021 - 2022 Glamis Season!

Great job. Loved this because it would be me just getting used to the ride
This I how I learned to read the terrain in my rzr. I can follow a good duner just as fast as he can read it. Leading is a whole different game. My buddy (who normally leads) made me go in front and then just guided me a little when needed over radios. Helped a ton. Can’t learn until you get put out front 👊🏼 good skill to know incase you get lost or have to solo back for some reason!👌🏼
Exactly! For years I didn’t want to lead when we had our original group, and the experienced guys lead so well anyways. When the group fell apart and I was going out solo I had learn. Now the roles are reversed and I’m trying to encourage members to get out and lead. Once you get good at it, it’s more fun that following, and it’s always a good feeling when you stop down for a break and everyone is pumped about the great lines👍
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel same. Went to the dunes for the first time 2 years ago... my paddles haven't been off since. But I SUCK at leading and I definitely don't go at a quick pace. I usually find great route into the rocks or schrubs. Thanks for posting. I found this video a year late lol.
Sitting on that video for a while eh? I was nervous that something happened and you were waiting it it out before you revealed. I'll take a dune vid right in the middle of summer! 👍🇺🇸
She did a great job driving. Nice chill ride
Sums it up well. Just a chill day overall. She's ready for this season to get started for sure!
Love your content. A RV and camp tour would be legit. Interested in what you bring with you. (tools, spare parts, must haves, etc.)
Thanks brother. I know, I need to do that. Every trip out I say, alright I'm going to do it haha I'll def get one done on our first Glamis trip this season.
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel Hopefully Camp RZR makes a come back if not Thanksgiving it is!
She did an incredible job !
She did awesome!
Thanks for sharing. The margaritas ( pre made) from Costco is really good too
Literally drinking those as we speak.. haha buy them by the case! Thanks man, see you out there!
I missed the Super Bowl already? Oh well there’s too much riding to do instead of watching foos ball🤪
Haha! That's what I'm saying!
What size wheels and tires you running on that rzr. Looks badas🔥
Here you go man

Nobody in our group ever wants to lead. My husband and I usually get stuck doing it. A quad leading a bunch of SxS's. We just got a sxs so it's gonna be a minute before we lead. People think it's easy to do until they have to. It definitely makes you a better rider.
The more you do it the better you get. Before you know it several seasons pass by and you prefer to lead. It’s definitely a lot of responsibility on your shoulders in the beginning. Sounds like your group is lucky to have you guys. Congratulations on the new SXS!
What headsets do you use?

Went to glamis wasn't that impressed. I think I like hard packed trail riding more.
It's not for everyone.. after a full season I look forward to hard pack as well
This has got to be pretty old huh😂
Just 6 months or so.. 😂😂
