yeah, It does look awesome on modern graphics and on this game's engine...but that being said I still lean more to the vanilla tacti-cool armor Bungie made for the UNSC on Reach though.
@@pvt.jonwallace Yep! I too prefer how UNSC troops look like in Reach, what they wear not only looks cool and futuristic but also practical and realistic. Halo CE Marines on the other hand look straight outta an anime XD. But hey, different times, different styles.
@@Wolfknight1992 The CE marines were based on the Colonial Marines from Alien which explains the not so tactical look. I personally think both are cool. I also like how it almost feels deliberately crude, as if the veteran marines on PoA decided they need extra armor and since the UNSC can’t divert too much recourses to them they send over the best they realistically can do without actually spending too much money. I’d imagine a slab of titanium or steel is a very handy addition in CQB on a Covenant Cruiser.
Going to go all technical but I’ll try and keep it simple. There is a physics parameter in the halo games engines called early mover physics. This allows players and vehicles to ride in scarabs in h3 and the mammoth in h4 without them sliding around inside. In reach, the early mover physics are bugged. Meaning that while players have no problem being on scarabs, if another vehicle or object interacts with it, it will bug out and be sent flying, hence what happens here
This is super cool! I made the Scorpion Tank model used in this mod years ago as a part of a portfolio pice to get into my university's game dev program. Seeing someone get this functioning in game is awesome!
Love the attention to detail how the marines youre fighting alongside being alot of famous crew of the autumn from fireteams Charlie and Zulu like Sgt. Johnson, Chips Dubbo and Foehammer!
Lt.Minus:this is it marine its the Last day on reach, captain keyes shouted order to all squads return to the ship but looks like the Fireteam Charlie is missing, find them and bring them back to Rally point and get to Lz for extration.
I could really see this modded campaign be made as the Halo version of a "Medal of Honor" game such as the one from 2010 where you can play the campaign from different perspectives.....switching from marines to army infantrymen,ODSTs or even as trained ONI field operatives trying to recover or destroy sensitive data or intelligence by going behind enemy lines with each protagonist finally running into each other at the end and evacuating Reach as the planet gets destroyed by the Covenant.
It's good to see the scarabs can be beaten without needing to be boarded. And nice work getting the scarab over that roadblock! XD The AI marines rushing a hunter (???) was pretty wild.
That was the mod author's doing, that being said this scorpion did feel slightly different over the vanilla one. I couldnt lower the main cannon as much and there was no seconday machine gun position for the npcs.
@@TexasGamer_05 You have to own the Steam version of the game on pc. I'd recommend waiting for a sale, since the game is usually around $10 to $20 dollars

I thought it would be a "here's the same campaign but you play as a marine instead". clicked on this one video purely because I needed to confirm if the thumbnail was real. and now I know that it's not a copy paste of the campaign. I will now go check the rest out. thank you.

you know a more grounded and gritty halo game through the eyes of a normal marine or even a planetary army member would be pretty cool.
