A ride back in time on the historic Miami and Erie Towpath. This ride just totaled 20 miles out and back and takes you through the pre-railroad days when canals were built for shipping and traveling. Lots of history on the route and and surrounding towns.

Hi Great Laker! Perfect day for a ride along the towpath! Too bad the first bridge is in disrepair and hadn’t been used for so long- it’s got wonderful architecture! Too bad it’s not a biking/ walking path. Really enjoyed the ride, and history- I’ve always heard about the canals - seeing them makes a lot of sense now! Very well done, thanks for sharing !! 👌🌟🌟
