When we lost to the Heat last year it felt like our ceiling. This season it feels like we never got to find that ceiling, but we sure found the floor.
Best comment
Great episode. Always love listening to Benjy's perspectives. Respect his basketball knowledge a ton 🫡
Definitely have to have Benji on more often
def not
@@iec7587oh you’re HATING hating today
@@AndrewClaudio Think he is a bore. Talks like he knows more about basketball than most, very smarmy and condescending., talks a lot to say very little.
@@iec7587respectfully disagree with everything you said but thank you for hate-watching anyway! :)
@@iec7587 smarmy is a good word

Very good point by Benji flexibility defensively. Although I'll argue against one point the team being at full strength arguably will make us less flexible as Julius isn't versatile on that side of the ball
Ya know I was one of the people defending thibs and defending rhis series loss.. but I listened to the hot hand theory podcast yesterday and I thought they made some great points about why it’s not that simple.. there were things that could’ve been done months ago that could’ve helped the Knicks get deeper in the playoffs and not completely run out of gas .. there were things that could’ve been done in this pacers series that could’ve helped also.. there were no perfect answers with all the injuries, but u do have to have some concern about whether or not thibs can be the guy who takes this team over the top .. he has some serious issues with his coaching style, stubbornness and unwilling to try anything different unless he’s absolutely forced into it
This is the worst of the Knicks' podcasts
Why are you here commenting then you weirdo lmfao. You have nothing better to do with your time?
@@Mattyhedz I clicked on it because i saw Knicks , almost always disappointed with KFS
@@iec7587yet you could’ve just kept it moving and found a video you did like. Instead you chose to comment and spread negativity. Maybe just keep it to yourself instead of hating
@@Mattyhedz "hating"? so one cannot express their opinions on a comment board of a video expressing opinions???
Yes “this is the worst Knicks podcast” is extremely constructive and will help everyone viewing. Thank you for your opinion!
In January with a healthy Julius Randle they looked like a true contender. Like to see if they are a true contender. Run it back, with a few add ones to the bench.
You have to look at the season as a "to be continued ".
@13:00 your 100% correct. Losing anunoby changed the trajectory and momentum of the series. Leading to this next point, point at all the players you want. But in games 6&7 the player who won them that series was Siakam. He was extremely efficient from the post and mid range. He found a rhythm and opened up the rest of the court for Halliburton and company. He was less effective when OG was on the court. Precious gave good effort but was pretty ineffective
And boom yall made the point 2 mins later 😂…
Looking back, game 5 was the last game they had in them. Any other team which sustained as many big injuries would have been long gone.
9:26 actually they played the exact same amount of playoff games as they did last year lol
11 last year, 13 this year?
@@AndrewClaudio oh yeah ur absolutely right I was subtracting games when I should’ve been adding.. Public school education sorry
@@SayMy_User_Namelol all good, thanks for watching!
