When we lost to the Heat last year it felt like our ceiling. This season it feels like we never got to find that ceiling, but we sure found the floor.

Very good point by Benji flexibility defensively. Although I'll argue against one point the team being at full strength arguably will make us less flexible as Julius isn't versatile on that side of the ball

Ya know I was one of the people defending thibs and defending rhis series loss.. but I listened to the hot hand theory podcast yesterday and I thought they made some great points about why it’s not that simple.. there were things that could’ve been done months ago that could’ve helped the Knicks get deeper in the playoffs and not completely run out of gas .. there were things that could’ve been done in this pacers series that could’ve helped also.. there were no perfect answers with all the injuries, but u do have to have some concern about whether or not thibs can be the guy who takes this team over the top .. he has some serious issues with his coaching style, stubbornness and unwilling to try anything different unless he’s absolutely forced into it

In January with a healthy Julius Randle they looked like a true contender. Like to see if they are a true contender. Run it back, with a few add ones to the bench.

@13:00 your 100% correct. Losing anunoby changed the trajectory and momentum of the series. Leading to this next point, point at all the players you want. But in games 6&7 the player who won them that series was Siakam. He was extremely efficient from the post and mid range. He found a rhythm and opened up the rest of the court for Halliburton and company. He was less effective when OG was on the court. Precious gave good effort but was pretty ineffective

Looking back, game 5 was the last game they had in them. Any other team which sustained as many big injuries would have been long gone.
