big dummy baka someone said they’re at least 75 bucks, not many families can afford to use that money for something unnecessary. Although it doesn’t seem like a lot for you, that little amount goes a long way for other people. Don’t be so arrogant and assume you know everything.

i appreciate this video on making ice cream without an ice cream machine. A lot of times we purchase items to make our lives easier, but don't ask ourselves how often will be using that item. I prefer to find alternatives vs having a bunch of items underneath my kitchen sink that I use once in a blue moon, that money could have gone to something that will be used frequently. Great video.

I use the two ingredient method often and came up with an idea you might like-PB and J Sandwich. Stir in swirls of peanut butter, chopped peanuts(unless you use crunchy or prefer it smooth), dollops of your favorite jelly or jam and several tablespoons of wheat germ. Tastes like a sandwich and a cold glass of milk!

I like making turkish coffee ice cream. I basically brew coffee in the milk and cream used in my ice cream and then freeze it. I like the little crunchy bits of coffee left in the ice cream. I also make peppermint ice cream and chocolate ice cream. Sometime I like to make Mocha mint Ice cream which I simply add all the flavors mentioned . If i feel like making a sundae i will simply make a caramel sauce and add a little cocoa powder and whip some of the cream

I used homemade sweetened condensed milk which I found is quite challenging to prepare. First I dissolved about 3/4 cup of sugar in a cup of milk and brought it to a boil, then turned down the heat to slow simmering until half of the water was evaporated as it appeared to be gooey and light yellow. Then I let it cool down and put it in the fridge overnight. The problem was, the next day I found the liquid was completely hardened into a brown toffee-like substance. I had to add about a tablespoon of milk and let it dissolve and soften in it. I even used a hand mixer to break it up. This ingredient really took me a lot of effort and time to make.

Tessa, I love watching your videos! I believe the reason that your background is warped and moving during the video is that you might have pressed the "Stabilize" button in the Enhancements section of the Video editing on UA-cam. I've done that a few times and when I finally watched my video I was so annoyed that the "Stabilize" button caused the shaking! Hopefully that helps you in some way.
Also, anyone saying that she is copying someone else's ice cream recipe might want to take a look around the internet and look at the THOUSANDS of no-churn ice cream recipes that all call for those two ingredients; Tessa's video is an interpretation of that method - isn't that what recipes are for? Plus, she uses 3 of her own variations. There's absolutely nothing wrong with sharing that basic recipe and using her own variations. Shame on anyone that makes you feel bad for doing that!

And it DOES WONDERS! tasted soooo good!, btw the reason why whole milk is better, is because if you used milk with less fat or anything other then wholemilk, when u shake it up with the ice and stuff it’ll have a lot of like those hard crystal, basically it won’t be as creamy :/..

nice , never consider just taking it out stir it and putting it back in freeze to achieve what the ice cream make machines doing. The bag method is cool but i would imagine it can only do soft serve. Don't know if you knew this one but you can also place a bowl with in a ice bath bowl and whip it in there to get around the machine. Surprisingly it comes out as good as alot of the ice cream machines on a small scale.

Cool :) I was thinking using greek yoghurt and a mixed bag of forest fruits. (raspberry, blueberry, blackberry etc) A somewhat healthy alternative. Going to use your freeze and stir method. See how that works out :) I made it with just milk before and although it tastes great it has a lot of icecrystals in it..hope that doesn't occur with the freeze and stir method. I've also heard egg yolks help the ice.

Tessa, I must agree with the other posters below: lose the special video effects. You are a pleasant presenter by yourself; you don't need special effects. Thanks for the ice cream ideas. I'll try some of the recipes once my stomach settles down. (Yes, it was that bad. ;( )
