That's because Mr. Krabs and Uka Uka are voiced by the same actor (Clancy Brown). He even starred in The Shawshank Redemption, which was released in 1994 (the year I was born)!
My review: The game is probably the easiest of the main-series Crash games, owing to the large number of boxes (and therefore lives) and the powers making even the tough levels relative cakewalks. As each level was much more open and voluminous Crash could easily use his Tornado Spin, Double Jump and Bazooka to wipe out and/or bypass any hazards. In Warped many levels were more enclosed and had more strict paths, making the powerups a little less useful. The music is the best in the series. Yes, the classic goofy and native sounds of the early games are timeless, but as a fan of EDM in general I really love what they did here. (And God I hate what they did afterwards, with the "mouth music"). Yes this was early in the PS2 era but the graphics are surprisingly poor. The animation looks slow and the character models seem awful simple given the improved polycount. Gameplay: 7/10 Music: 9/10 Graphics: 4/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Overall: 6/10
"easiest"? You gotta be kidding, the easiest is actually Crash 3. This one was a nightmare for me; with those trial and error type of gameplay. And damn... the control feels like clunky as shit; and curse those delayed animations. Also whoever tought that slide&spin combo should be erase??? It was useful in previous titles.
Why does Coco need to fly out to pick up Crash and Crunch, when she could teleport the two of them back, like what happens at the end of every single level?
Yellow = Call out Rok-Ko who cause a Hot Rocks to Fall that would burn Crash. Indigo = Call out Wa-Wa who use Ice Boulders to Freeze Crash. Red = Call out Py-Ro who cause the floors to set on Fire. Violet = Call out Lo-Lo who use Electric Line to electrocute Crash.
This begs the question: Why was the Super Body Slam power hidden in Banzai Bonsai, and what did you even really need it for? Carls literally did this whole game without really needing that ability. All in all, this was a cool game to return to. Sure it had its bland levels and its glitches, but it holds up as a decent Crash game. I hioe Activision continues with Crash after the N. Sane Trilogy and we can see Crunch again, maybe even a remaster of this game and others..?
I swear, if WoC gets a remaster, 2 thing should be done: - Adjust Crunch's size not being as bulky as here (in later games, he looks smaller than he is in WoC) - Reanimate that escape scene! Coco OPENS the space shuttle in space??? Isn't that dangerous? :D
Remind you there's literally a level called Solar Bowler, in which there's gravity in space comparable to that of the Earth. So yeah. Real world physics clearly does not apply.
A bit late here but I like Crunch being this big, it means that the good guys have a big guy in their corner as well. Adding the cut content and the planned concepts for the Crunch battles would be cool too.
After the final SMG4 battle SMG4: Can't any of you members of Team Mario Rabbids ever let me win? What do you all want from me, you idiots? (Dark-O gets angry) No, Dark-O! I can explain! i've looked at each version of WOC and there's at least a few differences on each port xbox, gamecube and ps2 the load/save screen has some differences on xbox, gamecube and ps2 loading is also different and the final boss fight has got rid of the red, purple, blue and orange fog in the xbox and i think GameCube version idk why? maybe each console has some limitations i know the xbox version crash has fur
Well. Now I know how Cortex and Uka Uka ended up frozen in an ice block with Cortex running from Uka Uka at the very beginning of Crash Twinsanity.
yeah they continue the story
So did I
And for the next couple of years, Crunch became Mr. T.

Why does Coco need to fly out to pick up Crash and Crunch, when she could teleport the two of them back, like what happens at the end of every single level?
Maybe the teleporters have malfunctioned, causing Coco to resort using her spaceship to bring Crash and Crunch back to Earth.
Maybe it only works for crash so she decided to pick him and crunch up
Or likely another rushed script change.
love crunch's voice
Wished they remastered this one
Yeah! Along with Crash Bash and Crash Twinsanity
