There's correlation between the labs and each element, because every element has a dedicated laboratory level: Compactor Reactor for Earth, H2 Oh No for Water, Fahrenheit Frenzy for Fire, and Weathering Heights for Wind.
I'm late to say this but that reminds me of a game called Kirby Planet Robobot. Each world, Kirby has to go through a lab stage, usually based on the world it was in.
Good observation. I like the planning that went into these level designs, which isn’t something I necessarily noticed when I played this game as a kid.
Did you know that this level was likely going to feature a flying section in the beginning, similar to minecart/diving/propeller sections in the earlier pre-boss levels? It was likely scrapped because it would've been difficult to make Crash transition from plane to feet.
@@minihalkoja590 I have a theory that Solar Bowler was going to be the vehicle transition for Cortex Vortex, but was made its own level due to that level being hard has balls.
I adore this level, but I REAAAALLY wish it had four items to collect. It just seems like a place that would have four. Granted, all of the elemental stations are worthy of having four items (they're the most important locations in the game after all), but this one especially could've used one imo. It's the one station that isn't planted on the ground and is near the endpoint of the game, yet it's so short!
He also voiced Spyro and Hunter in A Hero's Tail. And Sgt. Byrd, I think (shame they didn't bring Tom Kenny back for that game). Oh, and one of the Dragon Elders (Tomas), too.
@@jasonharris3502 the beginning of this level was originally going to be crash flying to the lab but it was scrapped as it was hard for crash to go from flying to foot

I don't know how, but the music producers for this game conveyed a sense of terror high up in the atmosphere using mainly just electronic sounds.
K-leb Exactly, this game's soundtrack is amazing!
Like a Television News Program!

And Cortex Vortex representing Cortex himself as well as space.

Huh, I never knew that. But thinking about it now, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for that bit of trivia.
Weathering Heights is the only lab/factory level in which you directly spawn in instead of travelling with a vehicle to it.
+xLosT-xKeKz There's also Cortex Vortex...
AlliroG98 it could have been so cool if they actually did that

I can’t believe the guy who voiced Lo-Lo in this game is now voicing Crash. xD

@hikariyumna1216 You need therapy.
Jess Harnell.
He also in The Simpsons.
The steams give me the chills.
if the hanging speed wasn't so slow, it would improve this stage and later stages alot.
If only this game was a part of N’sane Trilogy.
@@NagoTheCat Eu espero que a Action Visions faça os remakes de Crash WOC e Crash Twinsanity juntando os dois em um único jogo como o Sane Trilogy.
this factory is inside of a very big and totally different airship
One of the best songs in any Crash game imo
The fact that the airship in this level is fully modeled makes me sad, since WOC was gonna be open world. This would have been a cool area to explore.
I could never tell if you're actually on an airship or a research station in this level.
I KNEW IT! I knew this whole level took place on an airship! Thanks! :D

I expected a small plane chase segment before entering the airship but time constraints I guess
Good Level :)!
For some reason whenever I play this level, the music sometimes repeats itself over and over again
It's because of the game that didn't have a proper music loop.
The two boxes next to the lab guy aren’t there on my version just before the monkey bars ?? And my bonus is slightly different
PS2 Xbox or GameCube?

The voidest level in the story of videogames. What an ignoble game that was. Only (very) good thing: music
So uninspired level design
How so?
