Wow, another awesome vid that went by too quickly. My favorite about this one was the music selection and the video editing. Really felt like I was watching a high-end documentary. Can't wait to see what's next. Did you ever need to use the de-icing boots on the leading edge of the wings when you were in flight?
That’s a great compliment, thank you very much!! De-Ice boots..London fought off ice with them and EP4 coming next week I lived in the ice for most of the Canada Flights! The planes systems performed beautifully!!
Landed in Kulusuk once in May 1997 with a Seneca I on my way to US. Still remember the ATIS with vicinity freezing fog, we had the first Garmin mounted GPS (100AVD) to navigate,,, always nostalgic overflying at +FL400 in a 7X...
That sounds absolutely crazy! Love it! It’s a lost skill in the new pilot generation. Freezing Fog going into this place…that would raise the hair on my neck!
These videos are so amazing. As a person who does his own editing, I really appreciate the time and energy you put into creating your videos. Second, as a rising pilot, I really enjoy the flights, and the challenges that you’re facing making these flights.bravo to both of you, this series of videos are awesome!
Russ, thank you!! Keep it up on your side. Creating content like this allows you to dive more into the world and learn! It makes the trips a lot more fulfilling! Have an awesome day!
Coming from Chicago, you don't put water on to get rid of ice. But, that's on glass of a car. On a wing though? Regardless, I'm glad you all made it out safe. Some crazy stories of folks close to a volcano and it not work out well. I think it was a tourist thing. I know Iceland is a place I will be going to this year (not piloting) so seeing all this was fantastic! Just gets me more and more anxious to get there!
@@willdrydenthepilot Of and of course the Vision is spectacular! I forgot to mention that because of seeing Iceland. It's one of my favorite planes to fly in MSFS 2020! Great tech and even better looks! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thats a great question, its a awesome song! The band is called The Complete Fiction, and the song I believe is named "Go through me" - I hope you can find more of their work and we have a few more awesome songs coming in the next episode :) See you there.

We are keeping these videos coming thick and fast - Next Sunday - EP 4 - We we find something rather strange in Greenland!
I never knew Stanley Tucci was a jet instructor. 😁

I'm curious to see why!
The views are insane! Wish I could go visit Iceland one day.
I had no idea I was going to get the northern lights when I arrived! Also didn’t plan on an earthquake or volcano! 🌋 🤣

Did you have to have a satellite phone with you?
Airplane has a built-in satellite phone and ability to send SMS’s. We just talked through a headset.
