It is such a great time to play guitar because there so many options for all types of players. This is a great practice amp with so many effects and amp types. Who would of thought such a small amp could have so much to offer? I love that it has a looper and a drum machine built in! Joyo is making great affordable amps and effects that sound great! Great job Shane!🎸🎸⚡️⚡️⚡️

Man, you could play through a 1965 cheap pocket transistor radio with a one inch speaker and it would sound amazing. Now I will watch the rest of the video. Your content is always so great.
Thanks for such a great demo! I enjoy all your stuff and have bought a few items after watching your videos, most notably the killer Artist Tweedtone 20R amp. I've had the DC-15S for a few weeks now and use it at rehearsals. I think it has a really good clean tone making it good pedal platform. The built-in overdrive and distortion tones are too shrill even with the tone control on the amp down to '0'. The demo model in this video actually sounds much better than mine to the naked ear.
Last amp I bought was the Mustanng III v2. Man I love that amp, it really sings. Thank you so much for your reviews. This Goyo also looks like a keeper with that looper feature.
Great Review Shane. Sounds like a pretty versatile little Practice Amp. You've given us a really nice honest look at what this piece of gear is capable of and what it's limitations may be. Killer Loop play also...looked like you were having some fun with it. Nice stuff, thanks Shane.
Wow Thank You! I wanted to get one of these but didn't have enough info. Your video answered every question & then some! Also, your looping was really brilliant by the way.....
Great playing. I like the idea of built in drum machine and looper. Great for practice. More bedroom amps should have that. Looking at you, Yamaha THR.
I just stumbled onto this as iam in the market for a good battery powered amp. I have actually never used a looper yet but was looking into it so this could definitely be a win. Thanks brother, love your vids✌️🇦🇺
Thanks Shane,I see alot of utubers put up a notice the day before they go live ,showing time of upcoming event ,I would love that so not ta miss you ,often it's 4 or 5 am here when you go live ,great way ta start the day ,thanks
Just got it and I'm very happy. That wasn't a cheap amp but it truly delivers. Sounds are excellent compared to other little practice amps, a bit raspy during the first days but I think the speaker just needed to break in a bit. Having drums+looper is extremly fun. I got it to play at low volume during the night. Now some negative points: the firmware is a bit buggy (sometimes tap button freezes, sometimes the rithm wheel freezes, sometimes the footswitch acts weird, sometimes the acoustic model makes a big scream noise, sometimes the volume goes down for no aparent reason, I wish you could monitor the battery level, I wish the looper were longer than 30 seconds). Hopefully their next version addresses that.
What the what? This sounds surprisingly good from where I’m listening. Drum loops, foot switch, and recording out? Yeah nah yeah straight banger, mate!
Shane...no more high class honest 5 star review videos...I have 100 pedals as it is! 14 Joyo pedals bc of your videos. JK great playing man. You get smoother and smoother, more soulful. Killer, Shane just killer playing. Gonna need an Intheblues shirt soon. 😎😎
Great video, I really like the sound.of this little amp. My question is; because it has acoustic amp capabilities, is it 'safe' to use as a bass amp also? And if so.. what does it sound like?
Thanks for the great review. I ended up getting this amp. Against practice amps from Spark, Boss, and Yamaha (I've had/have all three) - for the price, sound quality, and ease of use this Joyo is the best. The only thing I don't like is the "auto-off" feature. Especially since when you restart the amp you have to reset you delay and amp model - sort of a weird glitch in an otherwise perfect practice amp.
For an easy to use practice amp the Joyo was simpler. The Spark was too dark sounding. I don’t record so can’t really comment on that it doubt it wouldsound good enough for that
Hi Shane. Would you recommend this one or Mooer Hornet? Also, if used with software (Amplitube) through AUX in, does separate woofer and tweeter speakers make this a better option compared to others like Spark 40, Boss dual, etc, which have smaller speakers (usually two 4"). Thanks.
Great review of an interesting little practice amp. The looper, footswitch, and BT capability call out to my wallet. My only concern here in the US is there are no reviews of this amp on Amazon. Is that because it's new here?
Some nice guitars on show here Shane . Great little praccy amp too man 👍. Big plus is the included footswitch no doubt about it .I was surprised at the price actually but , back to the footswitch being included and the looper function is also a great feature to justify it and I feel it's worth the price tag with those two.
Are you clicking different buttons on the footswitch for the overdub and playback mode? Also it sounds like your tone is changing on the playback mode, is that from the saved presets?
Is there a way to turn off the 5 minute timer? Maybe through usb? I know you like that feature but for me it's annoying. I have to reset the bluetooth and start over with my settings. I use it while practicing my gig via tablet when I'm on the recumbent bike at the same time. If I stop playing for 4-5 minutes I have to get off the bike and restart everything. Otherwise it's really handy and sounds great.
Great demo and review as always. This amp reminds me of the Vox DA5 amplifier kinda sorta. with a couple little twists. The Joyo DC-15S is rechargeable. The efx and drum machine are ok kinda but I prefer the efx and drum machine in pedals at my feet. It is a good sounding amp.
Years ago due to space confines I bought a Peavey small Practice Amp that worked on either 8 "D" batteries or a Wall Wort. It worked pretty well. I then bought a Gibson GA20RVT Minuteman for $10 at a Swapmeet and had to get a Transformer, Solid State Rectifiers, Tubes and Replace the Light Dependant Resistor which I had to make for the Vibrato circuit, to get it working. I now use the Gibson as my Practice Amp.
Not bad Shane! Some of the higher gained sounds were a bit harsh, but the clean tones, & light break up sounds were as good as anything else out there in that ilk! Nice 1! \m/
i dont play any guitar but got this amp after listening to it comparing to other amps. main thing that draws me in was size...no buzz...and the different amp modes when the guy in the store demoed it. got it for my daughter and she loved it too. just dunno how to do the overdrive thing that a normal amp does.
Great review!! Nice playing. I camp for most the summer and my dream scenario is to be able to loop my acousic/electric without needing electricity. I know I’ll go through a lot of batteries, but still... so my question is, does the looper pedal require a power source, or is it also battery operated? This would be really helpful to know! Thanks!
What is the facility that allows you to play a song from your computer or phone, and play along with that track? Is this bluetooth? I think bluetooth allows you to go without the cord? What is the name of the device that is plugged into the guitar, that allows you to go cordless?
Heya~ I'm Glad to have found this channel and I got my Joyo Dc15s Amp with the footswitch yesterday...but even after watching this vid, i'm unable to switch between presets...Lets say I want a clean/ acoustic tone in one preset and the metal tone as my normal /amp settings...I did save, i just cant figure out how to switch between both of them...Please Help :(
Gday Shane, love your channel always groovy. This is unrelated to the video but just an idea for a video on fake guitar strings. I'm in Oz and just purchased 3 sets of Ernie Ball super slinky do 19 bucks. I was lucky enough to have a wrapper from a set I purchased through Artist guitars, who may I add are a superb and under rated shop, great product range and prices and lightning delivery and the difference in packs was night and day. In lots of aspects, colour, feel, different text layout and barcode position . And I wonder i may of just chucked in case for next guitar change or if it was a different brand I hadn't tried before I wouldn't have a clue if genuine or fake. I'd be happy to send them to you, I ain't gonna take the chance and waste time on changing hence they are unopened.

Very good vid as al always ! Can u help us..? We’ll know you love TH and ST Eminence speaker. May u share ur experiences with Cannabis Rex though? I personally think it’s too flat alone, but in a 2x12 cab I believe CR is a very interesting speaker to blend. I’ve tried with some red coat series by Eminence as well, and rocks. Might u leave ur comments/ 2 cents about that?! Thx a lot 🤙🏼🤘🏼
I'm not sure how long the battery would last, but with a 4Ah lithium battery, I can guess that it will probably last quite a while. A couple hours at least, even with the digital effects going.
Wot no Telecaster? Unsubbed! Just kidding. That's not a bad little amp. If I hadn't just forked out $200 for a teal-stripe Bandit I'd be thinking hard about getting one of those Joyos.

Omg, that loop demo is insanely great. Thank you!
Your video production skills are epic, Shane
Thanks mate. I just set up a couple of cameras and I'm good to go. :)
I came for the amp and stayed for Shane's excellent chops.
Love the looping, great sounding amp. Nice work Shane!
Thanks Drew. That section was a lot of fun. 😀
I wish my Mustang GT100 or my Katana came with an included pedal instead of being a 80 buck add-on
My GTX100 came with the pedal. I agree, Fender and Boss make a premium with the pedals as add-ons.

This Goyo also looks like a keeper with that looper feature.
I love Joyo, so much value. Cheers for the review! 🤘🏾
Nice review Shane, I'd like to see how this stacks up against the Vox Mini-Go 10 or 50. They also have built in loopers and a foot switch is optional.
Great playing on this one, dude! I hope Joyo paid top dollar 'coz you really put this amp in the best light possible.
So true C!
That looping segment demo was great and fun!
It's a great feature :-)
Great Review Shane. Sounds like a pretty versatile little Practice Amp. You've given us a really nice honest look at what this piece of gear is capable of and what it's limitations may be. Killer Loop play also...looked like you were having some fun with it. Nice stuff, thanks Shane.
Very cool demo Shane!
By the way @Intheblues which Gretch guitar are you GASING over? Is it the LP one you demoed last year?
Wow Thank You! I wanted to get one of these but didn't have enough info. Your video answered every question & then some! Also, your looping was really brilliant by the way.....
thanks mate!
Not in the market for a practice amp but it sounds good. I watch because of you and your playing.

Great review. Amazing loop. Got me wondering if you’d ever release a blooper video for a good laugh.
Dude you are good!!! Liked and subbed. I'm getting one - you sold me. If only I could learn to jam like you. Thank you.
Thanks mate 🙏

Perfect overview! So glad you included room mic sound. Might get this for my daughter. Seems perfect for her for learning.
Very impressive amp and playing, good one Shane !
Great video, I really like the sound.of this little amp. My question is; because it has acoustic amp capabilities, is it 'safe' to use as a bass amp also? And if so.. what does it sound like?
The included footswitch is a really good thing, makes far more sense to me than practice amps coming with wireless packs.
Thanks for the great review. I ended up getting this amp. Against practice amps from Spark, Boss, and Yamaha (I've had/have all three) - for the price, sound quality, and ease of use this Joyo is the best. This is a great demo..He created a great loop and showcased the amps aabilities. I want one.
Sounds great, maybe my first amp?? Another fantastic review Shane!
You should loop more. That was Danish Pete levels of goodness. I really liked the sound of that amp, except for the modulation effects.

I haven't tried the Vox, sorry mate.
Thanks for the quick reply Shane .love that looping mate 👌
Are you clicking different buttons on the footswitch for the overdub and playback mode? Also it sounds like your tone is changing on the playback mode, is that from the saved presets?
Nice video Shane. Some people will enjoy this amp.
Great review Shane. Makes want to go buy one.
Wooow, great playing, man!!! I love that looping! I would like to listen to you more! Where can I find your music?
Looks like a nice upgrade of their previous version with electronics from what appears to be their R Series pedals.
Is there a way to turn off the 5 minute timer? Maybe through usb? I know you like that feature but for me it's annoying. I have to reset the bluetooth and start over with my settings. Very good! And you play a lot of blues that answer my questions :)
I’m very impressed sounds really nice,
I'm okay with any amp as long as they get the Distortion right.
Hi Shane nice review. Question: does the footswitch come with the amp or do you have to buy it seperate? Thanks!
The footswitch is included in the box.
some killer tone there my friend !
Years ago due to space confines I bought a Peavey small Practice Amp that worked on either 8 "D" batteries or a Wall Wort. It worked pretty well. Not on the market, but Those low gain tones are pretty impressive for the price.
Modulation effects left a lot to be desired.
There’s no way that amp sounds that good . You’ve must’ve did some kind of special editing 😀 joyo are really stepping up their game
Joyo has surprisingly been a fantastic company I said the same darn thing they keep getting better!
No fake tracks mate. :)
i dont play any guitar but got this amp after listening to it comparing to other amps. main thing that draws me in was size...no buzz...and the different amp modes when the guy in the store demoed it. got it for my daughter and she loved it too. just dunno how to do the overdrive thing that a normal amp does.
I didn't receive the notification for this one til now I don't know why and I'm a regular viewer just watch the squire one hours ago

Does it go well with pedals and/or multi-effects?
Great review mate. Not a bad unit if i say so myself
Is it loud enough for street performance?
How does an acoustic guitar sound through this amp?
I bought the Joyo BSK 80 amp. It's awesome, best deal out there.
Gday Shane, love your channel always groovy. This is unrelated to the video but just an idea for a video on fake guitar strings. Be interesting to compare the Joyo DC-15S with the Vox Mini 5 Rhythm amp. Both about the same price and functionality

Does this amp come in a right handed version?
Is it battery power
You can run it on the built in rechargable battery and it's own AC adapter.
Want!
No matter how many times I asked I can't find out how long the battery lasts on a charge at the volume of this demo. Amazon won't answer.
I'm not sure how long the battery would last, but with a 4Ah lithium battery, I can guess that it will probably last quite a while. A couple hours at least, even with the digital effects going.
Wow, handy little sucker isn't it!
Sounds great but you can make a tomato can sound great!!!
Nice
Wot no Telecaster? Unsubbed!
