    thank you. I have a question if it doesn't bother you , regarding the second case ( the 44 years old man with AV fistula ) why there is only increase in the pre-load without decrease in the after-load ?

    the graph of preload.. i have doubts about it .. can you please discuss about it more

    I'm not sure how the graph shows Aortic pressure meeting the necessary pressure to open "faster," since the graph does not show time. The y-axis of the graph is left ventricular pressure. Regardless if its fast or slow it still needs to reach 80mmHG to open the aortic valve, so why is the graph for the point of aortic valve opening for increased preload drawn lower than original graph? The graphs should have the same point, 80mmHG for the opening of the aortic valve, and in increased preload since there's so much more blood to be pumped out, the curve after aortic opening continues at a higher pressure than the original curve, not lower pressure.... i think... that's how my logic guides me

    the PRESSURE VOLUME LOOP does not involved time. shorter or longer lines does not necessarily mean shorter or longer time.
