I'm so glad Shannon has the time to give that baby the cuddling he lost when he lost his mom and siblings. Seeing him bury his nose in her arm just warmed my heart. Watching other channels with goats, the babies sleep in a pile usually. He never got to do that but Shannon is giving him that feeling of security. He's gonna be fine and yes, a goat-dog for sure!

Shannon treats Spruce like I treat my little puppy Milo. My husband and I joke that he doesn’t like his feet to hit the floor! He makes my heart happy too.
I just love little Spruce and Hercules playing is just the cutest thing ever and how you ended with all the goats relaxing and happy its adorable. Now you see what is involved in raising babies, its ten times more work but extremely rewarding. I love K and S so much.

I love the thought, the planning, the understanding you put into the care regime you have for your animals. This last week was clearly unexpectedly full of challenges but wow how you quickly adapted. Congrats on sharing your thought processes with us all. Congrats too for showing the loving, caring, mature, intelligent relationship you have to share with the world as you respect each other. And now…..breathe……back to the shed……start thinking about those chickens…….start planning extra storage for the goat shelter snd extra pens at Goatville in preparation for a population boom. That boy has some moves lol All of you are fantastic with animals, I always burped my bottle babies but then again I'm a little overboard lol It's a full-time job to handle a bottle baby and you can tell a hunger cry. So happy for you guys, Thank you so much for sharing ❤🫶.
FWIW, the umbilical will fall off in a day or two. You can dip it in iodine and Herc will probably not like the smell anymore so he will leave it alone. You might want to get some flea, tick, and lice spray for the girls especially Peaches. I think Mario is so happy and he seems to have come into himself since the girls showed up. I do think bottle feeding and cuddling will make Spruce a sweeter buck than Bruce. I also think Spruce has brought out Shanon's mothering instinct.

Thanks for sharing, maybe time to make a larger Maze, using the wire spools and planks, goats love to climb and be up high. Even in open area, put large, flat ,high spaces , Love seeing the trees and farm come to life, looking forward to next show.

Well Mario is a happy boy. He has a couple of little ladies now, well one not as little. The new girl definitely has some serious beautiful blue eyes. They almost look white in the video.
