  • Aled Jones was the child Star and is the presenter of BBC1's 'Songs of Praise'.
    This choir boy with the angelic voice shot to fame after releasing 'The Snowman' which shot to number 1 in the charts. He wasn't in the original film though.
    Jones was hired to re-launch ITV Breakfast with Lorraine Kelly on 'Daybreak'. The show was axed in March 2014 and he was moved to a new show on Weekends.
    Aled presented a radio show for BBC Radio 2 and still presents for BBC Radio Wales.
    In 2004 Aled spoke to Alex Belfield in a rare, in-depth interview just after leaving Strictly Come Dancing for the BBC. He talks about his brand new album for Christmas and his forthcoming tour.

    17:23 Asking /Aled Jones/ if he ever resented becoming "the voice that everybody associates with /The Snowman/"?! Isn't that a bit perverse, considering that it was /Peter Auty/ who actually sang the original version of /Walking in the Air/ in the 1982 /Snowman/ film? Shouldn't /he/, along with the song's /composer/, Howard Blake, have been credited by both the interviewer and Jones?
