I’m having a problem on my 700r on my Suburban and it’s stuck in park. The part where the shift linkage connects to won’t even move. So I took the pan off and ordered the park pawl actuator. I’ve read that it fixes it. That long piece with the spring that you were having trouble getting around the wires. What do you think? I needed to change the filter and fluid anyway. 😅
It is possible that the rod could be bent or the spring has somehow came loose. But either way, you're gonna have to drop the pan to do an inspection but look at the park prawl make sure it's moving freely
Nice find!
Buen video amigo
It's a good video EXCEPT for the fact you completely left out the orientation of the spring
This could have been fixet not removing the transmission, right? Just dropping the pan?
@@HornungMoeller yes could be repaired in the vehicle
