You are so fun, Tonia. When I have an old tin or an old glass jar missing lids, depending on size, I put a daily on top and tie a ribbon, rope, or anything coordinating around it. Looks pretty cute.
Great haul! Wow on those leather bound books and in the 1800’s 😳❤️ I love old books, especially Bibles. I agree, you had a bunch of great things. We’re dealing with the 90’s and we’re in it for another week or so 🥵 it’s hot and humid. Have a great week.
Good morning sweet friend 😊 great haul I love his dough bowl & tabbacco basket , I’ve got them everywhere yes great deal ❤ those leather bound books are amazing & your ironstone is beautiful ❤ I got 1 large very stained & crazed pitcher & 1 med & I sm crazed pitchers @ an estate sale yesterday i did leave 1 behind but I’m going bk to hopefully get it 😂 & a large mustard jar 1 gentleman bought every old book in the house they announced it right before going in 🤦♀️ he has a booth here in town he was very kind & told me if there was any I waited to let him know but there were to many ppl so I’ll wait till he puts them in his booth but it’ll take him a while anyway have a Blessed wk end it’s yrd sale time 😂 of course going bk to that sale 😂
I remember the little fisher price toy from my childhood. My old granny (lol that's just what i always called her) had a set of 6 of those glasses when i was little. She used to put buttermilk & crumbled cornbread in them & eat it, which i always thought was gross lol but i would always tell her i wanted the glasses, i just thought the were cool. She put them in a box & have them to my mom to put up for me along with a set of 6 little cut glass wine or ice cream glasses. They were in my moms Attic & long story but i couldn't get them! I'm sure whoever got that house found them! Granny passed when i was about 18, she was 94. That was 48yrs ago! Her mom gave them to her as a wedding gift. So they would be really old now! Every time I see one i think of my green old granny & those glasses being in that attic🫤 I can't remember for sure if the balls on bottom were separated or together, but im thinking they were together. Love the jello mold, that's on my hunt list, maybe I'll get lucky & find one at a good deal like that!😁 I've said it before, I'm obsessed with anything old & made of wood..& i love primitive pieces! Lol you sound like my husband, he's always saying "when i win the lottery..." Girl if I sun the lottery I'm going looking for a nice big antique mall that has some of everything!😄 Mashers are on my hunt list too. Girl I love the leather bound books! I haven't found any that was within my budget, except for my little 1849 bible. I love the little chunky ones, something about them!But🤷♀️ I'd love to find some! They're gorgeous! I'm laughing with you😉😄 That letter was cool! Trust last one was really pretty! I'm believing I'm going to find my big, long dough bowl! I just want a nice one for my table or a shelf, not a big as that one. I'm learning there's lots of thrift & antique stores all aroung the area we're staying in & at least one big antique mall in Tampa. There's lots of other places within an hour. So soon as i can get back to it I'm going to hit every place i can!😁 And i can't wait.. I'm like A child waiting on Christmas😂 I'm planning to add FB marketplace in this county today. I haven't added it because i know I'll find things & i really want to wait until we move. Love the baskets! Lol another piece on my hunt list! I hate i never got up around that area while i was living in Tennessee.. but who knows, there's always that possibility right?!😉 Another nice haul! TFS!
Great haul Tonya!! Wish I had known you were looking for that LGB TOY Shop! I bought a couple for 50 cents!! We have a thrift store I go to snd they sell all children’s books for 50 cents!! Of course, It’s hit and Miss but I usually find the LGBooks there!!
If you would like to go on a wonderful road trip….. think about southern Ohio to the Springfield Ohio antique flea market extravaganza in the fall. It is truly incredible & has over 600 booths of yumminess!! There are lots of videos on UA-cam about this & I know many dealers that come from Michigan for it every time it’s the extravaganza weekend! 3 days of antique flea marketing!!
