Seems easy for an Olympiad question, but after watching the whole vid, it is a good exercise in thoroughness. Getting *all* the solutions isn’t nearly as trivial as finding any single solution. So on a test where time is of the essence I could see how it could trip someone up
I got the answer in a couple minutes, just mulling it over, without doing any math, but it is nice to see the more formal solution.

The solution must be shown in detail, even simple ones, so that everyone can understand.
At least he didn't write the given problem a second time below the word "solution."

Doesn't the step at 9.13 the adding of the brackets alter the equation.. It seems to be restored in the next step when the 5 is placed outside the brackets. Are these two errors canceling eachother out or is there a way of solving this that I don't know about? Genuine question, here to learn.
