Im still using mate 9 over 4 years and counting. it wouldnt have lasted this long with out a bumper and screen protector. This phone is really fast if u don't game. The battery life was excellent until battery degraded. I changed battery and now im good. You can also swap parts freely as its not locked to the phone like apple and Samsung.
I'm using Huawei mate 9 it's a phone beast, never slow down after 5 years stop sending an update, but still usable full screen, futuristic phone, still kicking!!
Huawei Ascend G6, then Huawei Mate 9, now Huawei Mate 20X. Nice story with Huawei and I will definitely miss Emui once I switch to something else. Not because of the Google shit, but Huawei is going in a different design direction then what I'm interested in. Good video, my man!👍
I always love to watch reviews like this, how flagship devices in the past stands of today's standards, and i actually surprise that many are still usable today... It just happen that im looking for a backup phone and im thinking of buying of entry level kind of todays phone, but I'm seeing a lot of flaship phone from the past like 2015=2018 being sold as used and very cheap, and I stumble on this Huawei Mate 9 pro, actually there is also Mqte10 and P10 cheaply available... And here it is i found your review, and also quite surprise how it still usable today, well im not a gamer.. But good camera, descent battery and storage is what i like on this device... I guess i just found a back up phone, thanks for the review, sir. 😊👍
Well I have the mate 9 not the pro but only one issue with the mate 9 is the Camara it so blurry and its the back one and only the black and white works
Good review! My journey with huawei started with P10, then it was Mate 10 Pro, Mate 20 Pro and currently for almost 2 years ive been using P30 Pro and apart of missing 5G i dont see any reason to upgrade 😊 btw - i believe P9 Pro was announced by the end of 2016 but released in 2017.
edit:kept watching and found the reason why you get old phones my plan too get highest ram but its really hard ya are you using old phones because their metal back my plan too except for that lg v60
