I followed you until the end then once you got to the shader portion my blender looked very differently then yours. I was lost after that going to try again tomorrow Thankyou for the videos
great video, after i am done the not sure what settings keep getting changed but you can no longer move objects, its either the giants exporter or after importing the spline, the only thing i can get to work is loading factory settings on blender. Any ideas if this is causing it?
Good job, I was able to follow along and got my road working. Only problem I have is how do you get the white side, and yellow middle (paint, or makers, whatever you want to call them) onto the road?
pretty much follow the same process, but for the lines. So your first plane will need to be the width of the line and UV set for that line. If you look at the basegame maps you can see which texture files they used for the lines.
Somehow my road is rotated along the x-axis and not flat as yours in the video. An idea what the problem could be? Beside that: Great Video! Good explanation and easy to follow along.
hello thank you for the video and this awesome script. Is it also possible to export multiple splines at once? or is this something that could be added? I think it would be good to have such a function and see the complete road infrastructure in blender at once

hi thanks for the tutorial! I have a problem, even after face orientation and turning the red face to a blue one i still don't see it on Giants editor
The vertex paint was not applied likely causing it to not render in GE.

Click on your spline data tab set the twist method to Z-Up. We have more info in our discord modding channels.

Right now just one spline at a time. Could be a possible update in the future.
How do you add the user scripts to the GE menu?
