Hey bro i just built my quad nd using this vtx i bioted up with smoke stopper it disnt trip , but vtx didnt show any lights m using skystars h7 nd it has Pre soldered bridge to pit mode pad , m i safe to connect without smoke stopper?
Smoke stopper just tell you that your postive and negative supply are not connected to each other directly but it doesn't tell if you have connected each componnect correctly. When you connect the supply each of the component should power up atleast. So my suggestion will be to keep smoke stopper till your all components are booted up correctly as you would be changing thebconnections to fix it. I hope this helps . Im intending to make a set up for my rc plane, is it allowable to solder a connection for a battery and run the power directly from a battery for this transmitter?
Im new to FPV. Im trying to put together FPV for my rc car. I want this one but dnt understand what I do with wires? Solder them to? I cant just purchase a complete mircro jumper cable already soldered? I typed "micro jumper cable" on amazon, it brings up actual jumper cables. All I want to do is use this VTX with a fpv camera and 2s battery.Do I need a flight controller even tho Im not flying?
No wires are not soldered and when you purchase you get a micro just cable along with it . And no you dont need a flight controller to use it on your RC car. Using the jumper cable included just power the VTX and using 5V and Gnd power the camera and connect the video cable to this vtx and you should be good to go. One pre thing you would need is a 5.8ghz antenna for trasmission additional for amazon search or tearm micro jst incase you need it. I hope this helps. @@AstroShootingStars But the cable you took out the box has open wires on one end? H What wires would I need to connect this to camera and a lipo battery? It doesnt have any cables besides the one you showed"micro jumper cables" you called them, besides that, I dnt see any other cables/wires inside box/review
Exactly that wire will on the open end side can be used to connect the lipo and camera and other side has micro jst connector that can be used to connect it to vtx
@@AstroShootingStars The open end has no connectors, its just open wires so it cant connect directly to camera or lipo battery so it does require some soldering because it doesnt have connectors to connect to lipo or camera. Ima just try to find a different vtx that has complete wires because Im not understaning exactly what needs to be done and what other wires are required
That is correct you would require soldering for sure as i dont think you will get a wire with that kind of micro jst unless you know how to make one on your own.

Yes you can as long as the voltage rating is matched as this vtx has its own voltage regulator built in you can supply battery voltage to this vtx
