Happy Saturday, all! I don't usually post on Saturdays, but today I'm participating in a blog hop for Simon's latest product release. I thought I would play with one of the stencils in the release and different colors of glitter paste.
I've been eagerly waiting for the Folk Dance Stencil to be released! And I'm so glad it's finally here. I designed it a while ago and have been dreaming about using it with glitter paste since the beginning. One of the best parts of designing products for Simon is getting to see a product from the very beginning and then sit down at my craft desk to actual use the product later on. So satisfying!
Anyway, I used a bunch of different glitter pastes for my cards today (and also another one of my stencils from the previous release, Square Dance).
I also use some dies and a stamp set from the release to finish up the cards. I used the Streaming Heart die to cut a heart shape, and used white card stock and the Here For You die for a greeting. I stamped the "Happy Valentine's Day" greeting from the Breakfast Buddies stamp set to finish off the heart card.

Beautiful..I love watching your tutorials, because you speak softly and without the high pitched voice. And how you explain things and offer alternatives if fellow crafters mighten have what your using. You don't try and enforce anything on us. You so kind and gentle and not afraid to explain any mistakes that you might of made. Which takes courage. I really enjoy all your tutorials . I come away feeling like I've learned something and enjoyed it. Other ones I try and watch distress me and I just get a headache. These cards are absolutely beyond stunning Kristina! Definitely frame-worthy in my opinion. Love the black backgrounds for each of them and I think the "oops" that had you cut out around that heart really added to the definition of it. I love everything you do, Kristina. In fact, I know everyone else does, as well.I had that heart die in my cart at SSS and it was there at 4AM this morning. When I went to pay for my stuff I had added to it, the heart was no longer in stock! They took it out of my cart! Then I saw this video had come in and the mystery was solved. LOL! It's OK and I'm not complaining because I don't NEED it right now. I wanted it because it is a lovely die, so I'm on the notify me list. You make the most beautiful cards and have such outstanding techniques that I want just about everything you do. These colors, today, are gorgeous and I love sparkly, so in a word--WOW!!! Thanks so much for all you do to inspire us.
I love watching your card making. You’ve inspired me to make cards of my own. I also like how you show you’re messups instead of cutting them out of the video. This helps us newbies see options to do in case we mess up.

Stunning cards! I did not know glitter paste existed. Of course, now I want some. I love the ranger multi matte glue, and I put mine in the needle tip bottle, only twice now the little lid comes off the attached piece, and its really hard not to lose, I did lose one so I bought another bottle. They are totally amazing bottles though.

Great colors and project. Would like to have seen an "un-planned" (impromptu) secondary project on the sidelines using all the excess wiped-off paste. The vibrant colors may have created a totally-unexpected result. Like your style/design.

White dashed lines & rounded corners--vintage Kristina Werner! :) Love the designs, and I think the heart really pops on that black card base. Probably a good thing that you "messed up" on that one, putting the heart crooked on the white card, because I think it turned out even better. Tfs! :)
