Finally, a video where I said " ahhh so that is what that is for". Thanks so much. Purchased my inkle from a thrift store as a Christmas present to myself and had no clue what to do, but knew I have always wanted to try weaving.
Haha! Me too! I was gifted a double-sided inkle loom a few days ago and have found Joan's video to be most helpful. Happy inkle weaving to you.
I love your teaching so much! It’s so clear and to the point! Thank you so much for your time!
Glad it was helpful -- I love teaching!
Just adjust the tension peg to cut the heddle string & re-adjust the tension peg to the correct length to tie the heddles. Easy peasy!
Depending on the loom, that would work quite nicely!
Thank you, Joan. You're videos are very helpful.
great video, thank you!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for taking the time to say so :)
How do you prevent the heddles from slipping down the warp toward the tension peg? Thanks for the helpful video.
My heddles regularly slip down toward the tension peg and need to be pushed back up the yarn in order to have a decent sized shed. I'm using Omega Sinfonia cotton yarn. Is there any way to avoid this? Thanks for the helpful videos!
