This video is so "corn"y :-) I will try this for sure as they look so delicious, a "BIG" thumbs up :-) I'm putting this in my CULINARY playlist :-) ROCK ON!!!!!!!
Very interesting Jeff, I don't do Tik Tok so I have never see this. I agree, cutting the corn like that is pretty dangerous. I'll stick to the full ear
I still got ribs cooked and up in the freezer. Guess burned out on em. What i been craving is English Muffins! All the breakfast ones, lunch, and dinners, can make mini pizza from them and Philly cheese steak to! Many many other things, like gravy on them with bacon bits ect > i was just thinking of putting rib meat into the English Muffins that would be different! With chopped cooked onions and BBQ Sauce 👍 Hell yea
The secret here is a super sharp knife, and think splitting wood when cutting. Start with 1/3 of the ear, then sneak down the length. On the smoker now, and making the sauces.
Lmfao, 😆 Don't worry its close enough. I'am not a grammar teacher. Still Lmfao ! look like octopus legs, can i come over to eat? Next ones you do ~ lay them flat, put the cleaver down into the middle of the corm grooves. and hit it !
@@Armadillopepper I made them today! Easy to cut no vise needed. That’s my overthinking for you. Lol!! Definitely needs the oil. I subbed Pam for the oil and it wasn’t enough. They were getting a little dry. Took them off and added some. I noticed it’s nice to brown them up a bit them put them aside to finish cooking otherwise they will burn. Ohhh they were delicious. Thanks!
Tajin, and Slap Your Mama...that's what I'm talking about. Looks good Jeff, and you're still the sauce master. = ) Edit; I just put up some corn cob jelly......taste like honey. = )
Like eating ribs in the hood, suck off the meat and toss the bone over your shoulder. Looks fantastic, but why bother quartering the corn? We should be getting fresh sweet corn in very soon, can't wait to try this with some avocado bombs
@@Armadillopepper Well, that would make it easier to hold. As soon as good corn comes in I will try this. Also some of your recipes have gotten the Bride's thumb of approval
No. In the south, we don't do trendy stuff for views. The corn is either eaten from the cob or cut off the cob. We don't encourage people to eat the cob. The cobs are fed to pigs. So sick of trendy crap.

Looks DELISH ! I’m going to try it ….

What a great idea Jeff. That corn has to be ottasight man.
Give this a try on that new cooker you got Mike.
Do you steam the corn or grill them directly?
Grill direct.
That's a pretty cool idea. I might have to try this one. You are pronouncing Tajin just right. Have a great day my friend.
Thanks for the confirmation and have an awesome week!
I just got done making corn with Uncle Steves Shake Gator Shake, taste just like Street Corn!
Looks really good👍👍👍
Thanks!
Let's go!!!
Oh yummy!!!! 😋🥰
Much thanks!
I would like one of those knives. What brand is it? In Iowa, so I'll be making some of this recipe. It will be fun on my Pit Boss.
It is a handmade knife. Bought it on Etsy from Vasverblades.
PAPA made corn and ribs today!
Very interesting Jeff, I don't do Tik Tok so I have never see this. I agree, cutting the corn like that is pretty dangerous. I'll stick to the full ear
I'm not a big TikTok fan either, but I do like the recipe ideas. Have a great holiday weekend Tom!
Wow! Not just the food….but that ceremonial war axe you cleaved the ear with. Would you please share the source?
Etsy, Vasverblades hand made

Sounds good to me!
Do you eat the cobb??
No
#bacon. Nice cook right there!
Thanks!
Looks good. To bad everyone decided to go on a diet in my house. I haven't had corn yet this summer 😕
Toad? Gotta pave your own path! 😅
I made some yesterday and omg they were so good. The cutting of the corn was the hardest part smh
Glad you l8ked it Shetina!

How did it turn out?

Hey Super, Good idea, but I still got all my fingers so probably keep doing the same way 😅
i couldn't keep from laughing, Hey your fingers are not steak finger OK 😲 Don't be cutting them off
" I don't know how to cook inside", lol! So you still don't eat the cobb, even when you do it this way hunh?
Not me Ron!
It’s almost like you have to put the corn in a vise to hold it while cutting. At least to get it started.
😆

Where's the Beef? I might have to try this.
No beef but bacon! 🤣
I need to stop watching food videos. Lol. This is making me want to eat so much.
It's a veggie. Food for ya!
I think those corn ribs are more dangerous than knife haha
Yea, I did not want a trip to the ER 😆

Thanks Rants. I've never even heard of corn cob jelly.
@@Armadillopepper neither did I till about a week ago, but it's pretty good. = )
I'll have to read about it
Like eating ribs in the hood, suck off the meat and toss the bone over your shoulder. Looks fantastic, but why bother quartering the corn? We should be getting fresh sweet corn in very soon, can't wait to try this with some avocado bombs
Thanks. Quartering let's the corn bend more easily. Some say that gives it the "rib" look. No practical reason.
