It never fails as soon as birds start working the trollers will go right through them. I understand they are trying to catch fish but there are ways to work the school so everyone can catch.
Glad you guys got on some rocks at Poplar. I don't know where the bluefish went. The only one I've caught this year in the Choptank was, surprisingly, back in June. That little guy must've been a true pioneer. Since then, the only fish I've been able to hook in the river's mouth are spot and rays. Hopefully, fall will change things.
It felt good to catch a few! And I feel you on the bluefish. We haven't been able to find any and the mackerel have been hard to come by as well. I am glad the temperatures are starting to cool off so hopefully that helps!
Nice vids man, keep it up. I’ve been catching the blues off of Solomon’s at Cedar Point and down to Point No Point. Rocktober is around the corner, can’t wait, got my new Merc repower this season and ready to figure it out this Fall.
Thank you! We haven’t found many blues up our way but did catch Mack’s and blues this summer when we went south of point lookout. Can’t wait for next month the fishing is going to be good!
Hey, is poplar island still a good area to target rockfish in late October? I’m new to the body of water and trying to figure out some locations to try, any recommendations?
Cool videos! My boat is in Deale. I fish Poplar a lot. Keep the videos coming.
Thank you! Deale is a good area to put out of, lots of areas close by that hold fish.
Keep up the good content, guys. The recipe is perfect.
Thank you very much!
There is always “that guy” that trolls right through the middle of working birds. On the weekend it can be true combat fishing when they come up top.

Yes sir! If you ever decide to come through the western south side again, I’ll be glad to follow on my boat 😁.
@@ReyGambino16 sounds good! I’ll keep you in mind!
