- This is a step by step instruction of how to remove and replace the green impeller in your Jabsco Ballast Puppy Pump. This ballast pump is most commonly used in MasterCraft, Correct Craft (Air Nautique), supra, Moomba, and Centurion Wakeboard Boats. You can buy the Jabsco Ballast Puppy Pump at www.wakemakers....
Thank you, thank you! My Wayne PC2 pump was making a squealing noise. It was also pumping very poorly - spitting, etc. It also has a soft rubbery impeller assembly very similar to this one. It came apart easily, I replaced the impeller - just like the video shows, here. Put it back together, checked my water receiver and the lines, hooked it all back up, primed it (with just water, no vegetable oil), and wha-la! It works like new! Many thanks.
Why would it matter that the blades are going the clockwise position, its a reversible pump. As soon as you flip the switch the other direction the blades will be facing the other way
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Plus the owners manual says the direction is just the opposite of this video. If you run them without the plate they just reverse directions. I think the key is just making sure you don't have one going the wrong direction out of all the blades perhaps?
@@kellyhouseholder6737 this video is 8 years old. Maybe it wasn't reversible back then but I'm guessing.
This pump is designed for water transfer only. The Jabsco 18680 is designed for use with fuel. I believe the impeller is red.
are these self priming pumps?
Yes, Jabsco Puppy pumps are self-priming. There are quite some Puppy models. I've seen a Maxi Puppy priming up to 2.4 meters.
will this work for fuel transfer?
No, the Jabsco Puppy is for (dirty) (bilge) water.
a che temperatura max funziona?
You can find many specifications here: www.pumpvendor.com/jabsco_bilge_pumps.html

These pumps are NOT for milk and the largest model does a few m3/h, not 20.
