"Why in the world do I write down what I worked on everyday.....I have no idea". best answer ever!! I am also a CM fan. About to finish up "Hope" and have "Plum Perfect" and "Carrot Cake" (
Your Remember Me project is going to be so beautiful! The fabric is such a nice compliment to the threads. I'm totally with you on the sticker subject. I also did a lot of scrapbooking so I'm fine having a plain calendar.
Lol! When I first saw people using stickers, I was like, nope. Been there, done that! The color of that linen for Remember Me is so unusual, I do love it!!
Your projects are so beautiful. Love to see the amazing samplers. I'm glad you are recovered from the flu or something. The flu is this year really bad I think. Its like they keep coming with small children and back to school. We are recovered from one, and than the next one is in the house. What is now better than pink fabric😁! Always good. Happy stitching
Loved your update Barbara, ty for sharing, your work is very nice indeed, perfect stitching! I must look at audible, Dracula sounds right up my street, have never read the book.
Another fantastic video, love your channel so much! Thank you for the audio book recommendation. I've been binge listening to audible for the last week or so like it's going out of style so I decided to dive right in and wow, I mean really, Alan Cumming, what more needs to be said 😉 start to finish in 3 days, I just couldn't turn it off. Anyhow, thank you for well, just being you, looking forward to your next update.
Thank you so much for the kind words, and I’m so glad you enjoyed that audiobook! I recommend it to everyone, and it’s so perfect to listen to in October!! ❤️💜❤️💜
An excellent fourth video! Thank you for the inspiration...I know it takes a lot of time to prep for this. I don't keep a calendar, but do keep a notebook with a page for each chart...this gives me a place to record the stats (fabric, floss used etc) but I don't keep up with my daily stitching as I am trying to do it the old fashioned way (!) and stick to just a few WIPs. In my quilting world that's another story! haha! I'm excited to see your Halloween finish next month and the wedding piece (grab a photo of it before you gift it...) See you in early November!!
Hi Barb. I'm enjoying your videos, but had to stop and comment on this one. Have you been looking at my stitching calendar?!? I take the same approach right down to keeping track of the overall time on each project. But I've never added the total time for each day's stitching to my calendar! A fun new add, now, for 2024! And "why"? It's fun to know. I also love Carolyn Manning designs, so the 18 count pink fabric caught my attention. I'm currently stitching Powdered Petals on pink. Haven't decided on the fabric yet for the mini shooting stars SAL. Love seeing your progress. Thank you for the great videos!
Hi Teri, that’s awesome! I’m glad I’m not the only one who keeps track and doesn’t really know why!! I’m really liking the pink fabric for the SAL!! Do you post on Instagram? Would love to see your work!!
@@stitchbrat I'll find you on Instagram and follow you so you can easily find me. I post but not as often as I'd like. I'll try to get some new images up over the next few days, including the CM. Happy Thanksgiving!
I've really been enjoying your flosstubes. I don't lean towards holiday stitching anymore, but your CM Halloween piece has piqued my interest for some reason. (Congratulations on the almost finish.). And I'm also a big audio book fan, so I checked my library and, yay, I own that version of Dracula. I went ahead and downloaded it, and hope to start it before the end of the month. I hope you've fully recovered from your illness(es) and am looking forward to your next video. Take care.
Love your work. Is there is any reason why you got 18 count aida in pink for the stitch a long? Do you think that would be the best colour to use. I am tempted to join in
Thank you so much! I looked at the graphic she has with teasers of all the designs and it looked like there will be a fair amount of pink. Which makes sense, because, flowers! So I just thought a pink background would be pretty, rather than white. Cream would be nice, too. I hope you join in!!
