Steve @ 56:52 when you tried casting Fury of Khaine with a power scroll you rolled a 4,1,1. the power scroll states - However if a double one is rolled on any two of the dice rolled, the spell is miscast. so should have resulted in a miscast
I love watching Lizardmen do so well (even if blessed by the dice gods). If you had anticipated that the great swords were going to fall back from the temple guard (which seemed likely), you could have charged the skinks into the halberdiers as well so that the temple guard could have fought against the halberders that same turn. Hindsight. Also, were the blowpipe skinks far enough away to stand and shoot against the great swords?
@@rayn619 wow no no no no no that would be a terrible terrible idea. That’s a game of losing idea. Let’s see the Saurus Witf, and the state troop fight the skink on their own, they win that fight and get a free reform of my putting themselves in a position to actually play the game on their next turn. But even if the sores breakthrough the sword masters and overrun into the state troops, and fight again because the skinks are there. They likely only fall back in good order and thus are able to free up from the saurus and get into a reformed position facing the direction they want to on their next turn, and not overrun again to pin them down. Surviving skinks could have, but they likely would caused the state troops Lukas turn to slingshot in the direction they want.
@@MountainMiniatures I might have misremembered something, but I think you took it when the greatswords charged the skinks. I think they were to close to stand and shoot without quickshot.

I was going to mention the same thing, so looked in the comments to see if anyone said it already and you were right at the top.

Firery Convocation has no friendly fire, by the way. Same as the dark elf signature vortex.
00:32 Pepo general! :D
Great battle gentlemen well done!
I love seeing these! Is Steve still doing miniwargaming as well?
I believe he works some days there, he and Matt has shared custody over Luka
Any plans on using that sweet ruin terrain for some sige battles?
Or.... OR a Lustria campaign😮
Both armies are so well painted! awesome!
Love these batreps, thank you!
Blowpipes have no quickshot 😉
@@Lev-2d6 I know. Never played as if they did.

Steve you need to learn how to better use your Skinks 😘
@@Lev-2d6 spoiler.
Dude who won? Maybe the way I used them are so far behind your understanding.
@@MountainMiniatures as in you didn't use them for most of the battle? Poor chameleons.
@@rayn619 I certainly did. There is more to the game than just running in
