Here's why they missed it:
- It has been some time since S2.
- They read the subtitles, and have likely forgotten how Manoj sounds, specially while on phone conversation.
- Chellam Sir was a small role in S2. I'm pretty sure Chellam sir would be happy that reactors didn't recognise him!

Amol Palekar, the actor who plays Sunny's grandpa is a very famous Bollywood hero from 70s and 80s. He was well known for his feel good comedy films and his brilliant and subtle acting performances. He in the OG Bollywood sigma male character😂

I think the reason Why sunny was hesitant at first but wasn't sacred of Mansoor showing up at the hospital was because he actually believes in him and himself that they are doing the right thing and are on the same side . That's why he stood up to his uncle

In my personal opinion, I prefer this pacing. Breaking bad got me bored several times throughout it's run became it just seemed to slow down way too much in between.
I like that they're keeping this series fast paced so every episode you had something to enjoy.
@@kaze.14 Same bro BReaking Bad is more than a crime thriller it's a brilliant and seamless character drama...it connects you more builds up great to its defining conclusion.....Hell yeah I even loved Better Call Saul which was just perfect

@@malayjoshi225 I personally enjoyed Better Call Saul more than Breaking Bad. But BCS seemed quite slow (especially Chuck's character arc) upto season 4x7 until Lalo showed up. From that moment on BCS seemed a completely different show altogether. Farzi is more like the later seasons of BCS.
@@mandarpanchal2405 Yeah man the best part about BCS was it's graph and growth throughout the season it used to feel like I am watching 2 different shows like I can't even imagine episodes like Squat Cobbler & Point and Shoot in a same show Jimmy/Saul's story and Mike/Gus Cartel story all coming together for massive payoffs....cinematography, Necessary slow pacing, sound design, In some technical aspects it's way better than BrBa...But I still love BrBa because of its protagonit's perfect arc and amazing buildup to crazy thrill......BrBa+BCS+El Camino is possibly the most flawless storytelling universe ever

When Sunny talks back at Yasir Chacha with that tone I felt that sting in my own heart. Dude that played Yasir really had that nice old uncle vibe. Solid casting.
The reason for accelerating the story and stakes is because the actors are essentially movie stars and I don't think Indian web / TV series have reached the point of having 5-6 seasons or so. I'm guessing this would be about a 3 seasons show or so, at best. It means that we can't go for a slow burner like breaking bad, and need to speed things up a bit.
The current season 1 arc would ideally be about 2-3 seasons if this show was made with the luxury of a breaking bad sort of situation
I don't know personally I prefer Breaking Bad or Better call Saul pacing and secondly Farzi is an entertaining crime thriller and BrBa and Better Call Saul are more than that they are character drama which requires it's time to establish the problem with fast paced shows is that I don't connect with the characters more but it's good entertainment for sure like money heist
@@malayjoshi225 even I prefer slow burners which set up the stakes and progress gradually to and through them. But, we need to understand that they are primarily movie stars and we haven't yet come to the stage of long TV series with many seasons. In this transition phase, I'm glad to see bigger stars as a part of shorter series, even if that's the case

Before meeting Mansoor they were counterfeiting 500 rupee notes and after meeting him they made a 2000 rupee note that's why they needed to design a new note in a new facility provided by mansoor

Grandpa is played by very renowned actor Amol Palekar.... He is one of my dad's favourite from 70 and 80s. He used to direct and act in his films and all his films are really good... Golmaal being one of the greatest of that time in Bollywood.
Immensely satisfying to catch up thriller series reactions with @CineDesi (still getting used to it). But gentlemen. You missed all crossovers!!! I thought you would catch up, but shows that you are not reading any news about the series so, very genuine first reaction. I hope you will do a special video post season 1 of Farzi and next season for Family Man discussing the cross overs . Keep them coming!

I think everyone missed the similarity of the power structure and messenger in this with John Wick 3's high table and messenger. Even the messenger's gender is same in both. A powerful and shrude lady character who if required can take charge of the operations and run the business.
You know what's the biggest difference between breaking bad and farzi . That is in breaking bad Walter was smart enough to understand what's going around him , he understood the situation and reacted according to that and planned according to that. But here sunny is a complete idiot, he is not getting any bad vibes from Mansoor , he is being tricked completely .

about what syntell said they are getting all the hacking help and advanced machinery from mansoor dalal right ? so i think this makes sense .. i also felt that it was going a bit fast and the story could have been much more tight at places but again as syntel said its not a deal breaker
But I liked how the series moving fast,not taking audience attention for granted,without unnecessary slow buildup
The change in Sunny is believable because he may think that Mansoor is a snake, but for Sunny, Mansoor is the only one who helped him with his granddad or with money issues. Sunny also told Firoz in the previous episode that let us go big this time, guess he is okay to play any part in this counterfeit game. Also, he once told his uncle Yasir that money is not equal to God but it is not lesser than God also. He has also had instances which led him to believe that money is everything. Like the scene before they were locked up in prison, he saw that the powerful/rich got to meet the head inspector but they had to wait. There had been many such scenes where he is led to believe that all you need in life is money and power. That is why, he has turned for the worse.

I am surprised that you guys didn't recognize the 2 phone calls other than the lawyer call about divorce made by Vijay Sethupathi's character Michael in this episode are the clear references to the family man series. One call is to Chellam sir who is a secret agent who gives Intel through burner phones and the other call is to Manoj Bajpayee's character Srikant Tiwari himself for the favor to go to Bangladesh.
