When you consider most UA-camrs do not finish the series they start, completing Bayesic Training is a huge achievement. Of course there is still the next few DLC waves to look forward to. Big props for seeing this whole thing through so far.
recent subscriber here! im so glad you finished this series its amazing hard work! im excited to see what you are going to do in the future! i have improved so much because of you! keep it up
what. a. series. this series has transformed the way many people play mario kart. so many people (with myself an example) absolutely would not still be playing mario kart if it wasn’t for these tutorials. now, mario kart is a huge component of my life when it otherwise wouldn't have been. when you search for some track, one of the first things you’ll come across is one of your tutorials. if i feel like i can’t figure out a strategy on some track, my first thought is “i’m gonna watch the bayesic training video on this track”. watching bayesic training to get better at mario kart is the equivalent of revising at home to get good grades in school. thank you for all the time you put into these videos and congratulations on finishing the final track of the base game!! - danalaman
Thank you so much danalaman I really appreciate all the support you've shown me on all these videos! It's always funny to think about the fact that there are threads about me on reddit and stuff cause as far as I'm concerned I'm just some dude who loves this game way too much. When I started I never thought that I'd actually be able to expand my reach beyond the 20 or so people in my friend group that play this game so it's amazing to feel like I actually made a difference in some way. Anyways "thank you" doesn't feel adequate enough of a reply for your generosity but just want to say that it really does mean a lot to me
@@Bayesic according to a quick google search, the average pay per hour over in the US is $11. considering you spend 3-5 hours per course, i'd say you more than earned all the support i've given you!
Coming late on the switch and MK8, I just started to play mid-January. But because of your series I was able to beat all staff ghosts (base game) in less than 2 weeks. It also greatly helped my online play. Now I am addicted to it. Thank you
Awww, Bayesic, what would I do without you! You've helped me so much with this series and I always enjoy your videos. Even when whatever track I'm grinding is driving me crazy, I ALWAYS enjoy watching what you have to say about it. You have a great personality. Every single video I've seen has helped me greatly. Much appreciation! ❤️❤️❤️
Congrats for finally finishing the series!! I've been following your tutorials constantly since I discovered them and wow they are just so useful and totally help me to master on the tracks in this game and also winning more races online. You explain the strategies so well and it's really easy to understand, honestly your videos deserved more attentions they are just so great!
So, I was actually trying to find your Big Blue 150cc tutorial yesterday and just ended up settling in the 200cc to get by. Thank you so much for finishing this series out. Single greatest resource for MK8.
Finishing the series with my favorite track. I thought I'd finally have a better time than you, but you bested me by .2 seconds. Ah well, maybe in mk9. Thanks for the videos :
Congratulations and thanks so much for this series. I only started playing MK8 Wii U just before Christmas and found Bayesic Training in January. You made me go and buy a Switch because some of your strats don't apply on the Wii U but mainly because I was no longer able to unlock tracks on the Wii U. Your tutorials have raised my confidence level by giving me insight and skills. Thanks.
thank you for the series! all of your videos are a massive help, and i can really tell you put a lot of effort into them. i'm excited to see what comes next :)
Appreciate the series very much. Just finished practicing every single course in the original 48 tracks and using your amazing in depth videos to improve my times a lot. It is definitely very exciting to know how to do every track well and gain massive leads.
Thank you for your amazing tutorials! They really have been a great resource for me and I've learned a lot from them. MK8 is a fun game, but your efforts are really what have made me come back to it time and time again -- there's always something new to master that you've explained in a clear way that I would not have thought of otherwise. Best of luck to you going forward and I look forward to seeing whatever future content you make!
Hey! im struggling to get 1.24 on this, i have a 1.25.106 with lap 1: 31.73 lap 2: 21.07 and lap 3: 32.29 but i feel like my lap 2 is very slow in comparison of the 2 other.. Does anyone got any advanced tips? I feel really stuck on this yet i could lower my pace by a lot if i could get at least 20.9 lap2 Great video anyway!
Thank you sir I finished ll staff ghost because of your help, still cannot execute the ribbons shortcuts optimally yet, but keep practicing!!! Thanks agani
I only started mk8 in december but time trialing with my friends is a huge part (already was in mk64) and your videos help grasping and improving the stages so much faster it's not even funny. So far I got solid (for me at least :D) times for the first four cups and I'm really looking forward to going through all of them. Thank you so much!
Just recently discovered your channel. Great content, I love it! Have been playing Mario Kart 8 casually some time now, but these videos really make it easy to adopt better strategies for my time trials. Thank you!
Just saying, Bayesic you sparked renewed enjoyment in Mario kart. I haven't watch yet all of the rest of serie, but when I feel like tackling other tracks I will definetely use them for reference :D
Congrats on completing the series and thanks for all of the effort - I’ve really enjoyed watching and it’s helped the records in our house tumble over and over 👍
Hooray, it's completed! Congrats on finishing, and Big Blue is one of my favorite courses too! I wondered, why do you do cannon glider holding down instead of right? I thought right was faster like what the WR does.
I am definitely lagging behind many others who have been watching this series for years, but as someone who has only just recently gotten a Switch and MK8, I just want to say thank you for how much work you have put into this series. I can only imagine how many hours of work went into perfecting the time trials before spending a similar amount of hours making the videos. The presentation is always clear and easy to understand and follow. It has certainly made me a better player, but perhaps more importantly, made me enjoy the game even more than I otherwise would have. Your effort in this series has certainly helped many others improve their skill and performance, but I think you deserve a special tip of the cap for magnifying the joy we get from the game as well. This series and this channel are awesome. Thank you for putting it out there for us.
Bayesic... you have really helped a lot in terms of providing strategies and help for us. I got this game for my birthday last year and I started playing it a lot more after watching some of these tutorials, first one being Big Blue 200cc. And... wow. I'm amazed. You have put together tutorials very nicely, and as a complete newbie at the time to Mario Kart, I was able to understand them very well. Now, 11 months later, I have unlocked every item in the game, beaten every staff ghost on 150cc and 200cc (including DLC tracks), and have been able to get some very decent times including a sub-minute run on Toad Circuit and plays of about 6-7 seconds off of WR (some of them go as close as 2 seconds!). I even did all of the standard races back-to-back on 200cc and won first place in all of them (perfect 720 points!). Thank you for making this series, Bayesic. Even if the 200cc videos don't come out right away, or if MK9 is released before the full series is wrapped up, this will always remain in my memory as the kick-starter for my grind to Mario Kart speed-running. I guess you make it look pretty "Bayesic" after all!
Hi, I don't comment often but I wanted to thank you for your amazing content. I started compete pretty recently (1-2 weeks before wave 4) and I was really bad at the game, now I can say I'm decent at the game and even have pretty ok time thanks to your Bayesic Training videos. Thank you Bayesic! ❤ I am really excited for the new chapter for this channel, until then I hope you have a beautiful day amd keep the good work! ❤❤❤
best youtuber out there. Quick question: are you gonna update your tutorials if a new strat is discovered or if you manage to destroy your PB? Speaking of which, have any of your PBs from the previous videos been broken yet?
I typically don’t revisit PBs after I’m done with the video just cause I don’t have time (gotta learn the next track haha) I probably won’t update my tutorials, because any new Strat’s will only really be applied to the world record for the most part, but I’ll probably make shorts in that case
Big Blue is always an interesting stage to play because of how open it becomes towards the middle, in addition the general F-Zero aesthetic. While your route wasn't TOO unique, I think those traits showed well! It was a really nice touch to record a new time in the end. I haven't been watching the whole time (and DID prefer to 200cc courses), but your work is consistently good quality! Congrats on the feat!
Congrats Bayesic! We all appreciate your effort of going through all 48 tracks! I really want some 200cc training videos, but it's best for you to take some time off. I'm looking forward to the new videos you'll be making soon. For now, rest for a while and pat yourself in the back, you did it! :D
Big props for finishing (and just in time for wave 4). These videos have been a huge help and have changed the way I play the game. Good luck on whatever projects you put out next, I know I'll be watching!
Thank you for all that Bayesic training! It has honestly helped me a ton and has made some courses really fun challenges over the years. I cannot wait for 200cc Bayesic training and I cannot wait for what's to come next in the future of this channel, I am patiently waiting for the surprise :D . Here's to more great years of Mario Kart content ^_^
Thank you so much for all the hard work and dedication to this series and to us! I liked MK8DX but started loving the game after your tutorials and all the things I learned on them!
Could you, in the future, make a video about inward drifting in 8? After playing a lot of Wii, I can’t get used to the drift and I can’t find any good tutorials onlone
tbqh I suck with inward drifting in 8 lol. At some point it'd be good to learn since there are a few tracks that use it but you're honestly better off asking in the MKLeaderboards discord or something
