Hey Guys, I keep getting messages and comments on my old trophy run video’s asking, should I wear luck, should I not, which is better and stuff like that. So I wanted to run a big test to see, would luck make the runs better, so I could answer that question honestly. Here are my results! 9 tier 2 legendary trophy mats w luck vs 3 tier 2 without, all those tier 2 rolls had equal chance to be armoring tools theoretically. i got 3 armoring tools in 2 days a couple weeks ago. I still think chest runs are probably the second best money making method under owning a territory

Trophy mat runs are worth it, I quite like them, either Morningdale (because of mining mostly) and Ebonscale because Topaz and motes.
Always have more than one goal in farming routes is king
This is best experiment on luck I've seen so far. I definitely go full luck for most of my runs and I feel like I see increased trophy mats and the amount of craft mods Vs other loot in normal drops.

i was thingking exactly about this last night after the server chest run... i don't pvp even outpost and we don't have any wars.. i don't even know if I pvp will the other faction just hit me at will when they see me or get accidentally hit by other faction with pvp on... i was planning to find out today and this came out! wow! i was also wondering about the golden chest schematic!!! thank you!!!

At raw numbers 23 vs 17, is just under 50% more but still pretty close to your actual luck %.

I dropped the Golden Steel Storage Chest Schematic a few months ago back when Asgard had 1800+ players during peak hours. I was spamming for about 2 weeks and collecting the best offers. Some people were talking crap in the chat, some people were getting mad for some reason and they've been sending me silly private messages, but in the end, I sold it for 480k gold. I remember that the richest leader of the biggest guild offered me like 40k, what a loser ^^

I've ran 2000 chests between ebon reek and sm. And I have got 1 tracker seal
Well if your comparing in that sense I guess I am lucky, I have been doing these forever, and have all major trophies and have only ever purchased 1 armoring tools and 1 dice, everything else self found.. I do well I guess then, but still feels bad for time spent versus what I get.. Now if your talking about things we "want" I have probably since October done 25k runs or something total, and still not ONE telescope O.O
@@5HeadSurvivalGaming Yeah I have full luck and major trophies even run weapons. I legit stopped running all the time because the terrible luck. in the 2000 I counted, 1 trophy found. I stopped counting since then. I can estimate probably around 1000 chests since then. No others.
You didnt open 100, 200 or 500, but 2000 Chest in total, ACTUAL GIGACHAD. Greatly appreciate the work done, this is the best test ive seen!

Luck will only increase the potential that your drops from chests/mobs are epic/legendary items. It does not, how-ever, improve the probability that you will get certain items more often. I find major loot luck trophies a waste of good money (on my server, 3x mj loot luck trophies are worth 210k gold)... I would spend money on them only after I had made every crafting skill to 200. My opinion! Otherwise, good video, for those who seek knowledge :)

So it's 100% confirmed gear luck is better than trophies? 1500 luck giving just 1.5% seems really low. I always though trophies were more important than anything else. Great video!

For the insane prices of Major Loot Luck Trophies the percentage should be a lot higher. Upwards of 120k for the full set for so little is crazy.

I have 3x major loot luck trophies with full 2.9% armour set plus all 3 bags 2.8% plus shield of 2.8%
I swear I am getting much less legendary drops then what I did only having one major trophy. Luck is pretty bugged in this game and is way over hyped.
Thinking of selling trophies and going back to basics. Agreed, can make a lot more money doing other things then running boring chest routes all day with little to no gain on legendary drops.

Golden steel chest schematic is only from elite chests and chests in dungeons so it really doesn't matter.
Well it sort of does, but I wasnt fully clear, when I do the ebonscale run I generally once a day incorporate the palace solo run as well, but I got off topic
Hi man, after seeing ur fishing video, im curious is there any information for loot bucket on chest ? ( luck requirment for certain loot bucket )
there is in a way, its just a ton more convoluted, basically when you loot a chest you hit 1 loot bucket, which will contain items or potentially another loot bucket which then you will roll from that one again etc..

edit: 2.9% on everything except 2.8% on bags ofc
including the pearls in gear, 55.1 including pvp buff, if you count weapons a bit higher, however I do believe weapons do not affect chests

Lucks' only effect in the game is to increase the droprate of named weapons so wut is this about?
They said in the notes on luck that it directly affects your chances at receiving trophy materials
"How does Luck affect my ability to earn Trophy Materials?
Global Luck bonuses improve your chance at earning low-drop-chance Trophy materials." directly copied from dev post
@@5HeadSurvivalGaming fair enough, they once tried to explain luck in a monthly update and mentioned only that it included droprate of named items. I don't know why they only singled that out if it includes other stuff like trophies too. Poor communication by AGS on that one
If Iam using my full luck gear, I cant find epic trophy mats anymore... Its weird, Iam using the new event set and have it 625. If you dont use it, I find the epic trophy mats...
But you are even using more luck and still finding epic trophy mats...

No that should now be fixed, but luck is a funny stat, so there are a ton of myths surrounding it, who knows whats really "true"

The grind is real...lol. chest runs aren't for all....I follow your farming advice. I spend my time gathering and selling then buy what I need, through buy orders mostly. I have all major trophies this way. But some like the treasure hunt, I get that.
I still run it, but not for trophies, I am after the telescope still

According to AGS luck ONLY increases the drop rate of NAMED items. But it's AGS so take that as you will.

So basically it's all garbage. If you don't spend 168 hours a week farming chest, or farming millions of gold. You can forget achieving this stuff before Ashes of Creation destroys this game
Seems more beneficial to just put buy orders out and buy the trophy mats you need. For me anyways.
It def is much easier that way, but so many don't want to just buy things

Charcoal is .65-.75 you can farm thousands and thousands of wood per hour in con spec.. Don't think it would be that hard really
