I mean - trains ceased movement when last of the Ancients were gone(as per Outer Expanse pearl)... So it was evident since the first minutes that they are still alive :D
I hope they unshade shaded citadel since 5p doesn't exist yet! (For the people who don't know why, 5p's structure is so big and because of that shaded citadel, which is under it, is so dark gloomy)

Surely the Ancients wouldn't want their supercomputer children to be covered in moss and vines. At least that's what I thought at first, but thinking about it, the only Iterator area we go through is pre-collapse Moon. All the other areas like shaded and outskirts were already abandoned at this point, so the overgrowth does make some sense. I'd reduce how thick the overgrowth is in those areas however. The idea that the plants grew that much between the Ancients leaving the surface and Pebbles being built but still looking exactly the same once the main game happens just doesn't make sense.
