I sold the trailer to Ron. It's the black one behind the white 4 runner in this video. I usually use a hammock, but actually slept in the back seat of my truck.
Catherine B mosquitos weren’t bad at all. The water has a decent current. Very little if any stagnant or slack water to breed mosquitoes. A few gnats though. A minimal amount of insect repellent and or a bit of campfire smoke was more than enough.
U mentioned still at 1am and people still partying????? So theres no quiet hours implemented all through out the campsite????? We love to party but we want some peaceful and quiet hours as well...

We wanted to go and Meet up with you guys but we ended up at holder mine it was awesome hitting the trails and getting stuck in the mud for 5hrs lol I joined the fb Florida sos someone came out and had us out in 5min thanks for the Suggestion on that one but we Paid it forward and pulled a Jeep out the next day lol
Please go to Adventure Van Man channel on U Tube, and see "Man follows his dreams " a video interview and tour of my van my friend Brian made. Van's not 4x4 but I get around pretty well with MT's on the rear Florida style. Some good ideas for building an overlanding van or whatever you drive!
You only need to make a reservation if you want a site with electricity. If you want a primitive campsite like we had on th river, then no reservation can be made. It's first come, first serve. $24 a person per night.

I've been to all 4 corners of our great country in the past 19 months in my ford van, definitely living the life !!! It's 38° here, brrrrr ! Looking forward to meeting up with y'all
Parents live in Ocala and get down there once a yr. Near the bombing range, in the ONF there was the remains of a base and use to drive around there. When last there in March it was blocked off and they were clearing it out. Saw a few vids where people where driving around on some kind of concrete stepped foundations. Do you know where this is or some other nice areas to drive around in the ONF? Thanks

It's always a good time at Ginnie Springs. I highly recommend it, especially if you like to party and have a good time.

You can camp along the river and the springs. It's the primitive area.
