One thing I was wondering, how do you choose which speedrunner does what map? Do you all play the same map until somebody gets a perfect run, or does a single person master a single section?

Each person triws to speedrun the WHOLE map and the editor will take the fastest one in each map

PaulieMoly cuz the items spawn randomly and the hp speaks for itself
@@ancientdew210 they have a tool which saves part of it like for example one guy does the first chapter of the map then it is saved and sent to the other guys who do the next chapter

I think I enjoy the hard rain and swamp fever speedruns the most as they're supposed to be slow maps with low visibility but you guys just don't give any fucks

Excellent as usual. I've been looking forward to this. These speedruns have actually become my most anticipated "series" of sorts on UA-cam. The Half Life 2 music was a nice touch!
Still wondering though, are you guys going to put up a specific tutorial on how you do the runs? I've seen the HSTop bunnyhopping tutorial, but there's still quite a few things you guys do that I haven't seen anywhere else (like the "common boosts", which are totally awesome). I'm actually very curious to get whatever script you guys use and try it out for myself, can I ask for it in the Steam group?

niteflash06 Honestly, I learned bhopping without the script and I find it much more satisfying and fun without a script. What I am saying here is try to learn bhopping without scripts if you can, you learn much faster

Yeah, I guess the solo expert realism bit just makes it seem cooler and more challenging. I think they probably could get way faster times if they were playing as a team, or on a lower difficulty. Not like I'm complaining though, they're still making world records. :D
Imagine the possibilities with more than one person in a speed run, one person uses a grenade launcher or throwable items to launch someone else in the air and skip a chunk of a level! That would be cool
