I just came from Wholefoods and saw the mounds of sweet potatoes, onions, greens, apples, citrus, grapes, flour, and I tried to imagine what I'd be eating tonight without the people that grew that food. I looked around to see if they had any posters of the people that produced all the food in the store--couldn't find one such poster Then I started to search the many isles of the store to see what the people who our Mainstream Media classifies as celebrities, to see what food they produced. I couldn't find a LeBron potato, no Jay-Z bananas, no Tom Hanks onions.
To the true celebrities out there that never get the appreciation you deserve--thank you for keeping an undeserving person like myself alive.

I love agriculture- there are two entities in this country that made it what is, the American farmer and the American military, thank you God for both.

The three stooges that gave this a thumbs down have got to be real winners. They don't need farmers, they get their food from Walmart...

True words, you learn more from the hard times than you do the easy times. Life sure is a mystery, too bad we don’t figure it out until we are half way through it.

THIS is a wonderful person and what a down-to-earth story he has to tell.
And you are right, Sir. When this world fell, life became difficult no matter what profession you are in. I greatly appreciate farmers, I sincerely do. But my wife was a teacher for 27 years and taught preschool for 10 years before that. You have no idea what she had to do day in and day out, along with being on her feet the entire day, but 20 minutes for a rushed lunch. But to have any success, you have to go out and get it. And you have been smart enough to take Jesus along with you.
To everyone out there reading this: life is just hard. Please make sure your afterlife is easy. Choose JESUS. And time is running out.

Nice farming story as with many American companies, farming is an industry, machine shops is an industry, I would enjoy living the farming life a break away from the machine shop, we are pro farming we like that it is family but more often today it is a corporate game and less family ran, this concerns these two rural living cities guys.

Yes I to miss farming.. but growing up working very hard long hours from 8 yrs old to 21...its in my heart even at age of 67 but going back to the farming country I grew up and worked in ..many good men went broke..an now it's just grabbing land from smaller farmers to build large corporate family farms...no thanks ,
