I'm going through my old Betamax and VHS tapes and plan to start archiving and sharing as much of them as I can. Presented here is 6abc Action News with Jim Gardner, taped off of WPVI Philadelphia on May 14, 1992.

I don't know which is funnier, that you taped the news on VCR back in '92 or that you still have the VCR tape from '92. Just goofing with ya, its cool that your uploading these nostalgic tapes to UA-cam.

So I have a bunch of old news broadcasts from back in the day. What used to happen was that we would record a movie or something and go to bed… Then it would just keep recording and so at the end of a lot of my tapes I’ll find the local news from that evening. My dad had kept all of these tapes for years… Then a few years back, he gave them all to me. I had them in storage for a couple of years and finally dug them out last year and started going through them. It’s definitely a fun nostalgic journey… But there are hundreds of tapes to go through! It’ll take me forever 😂
