Even if you had chronic leprosy, you could still count on your fingers the amount of bands that are this good. I saw them play to less than 30 people and they still gave it EVERYTHING.
i saw them open up for cannibal corpse waaay back. i think it was their first tour. i saw them in the tiniest dirtiest little club in tulsa. i was blown away that corpse was even playing this place. but alex webster came out during their set. we was amazed at the bassist. we were discussing his technique. he said that he never misses their set. he said it got him pumped up before their set.
I saw them at Summer Breeze Open Air in the scorching heat, I think something happened with the bassist so they played the set without him. They still went fucking nuts haha it was great.

Man it's so weird cuz i was listening to their music and i swear i came up with about half of these tracks in my head for a makeshift Origin set where i got to choose the songs
so fakn tight live it's ridiculous. best band live period. I stood there slack jawed for the first three songs, and they only thing I could manage to say was holy shit.
I saw that tour in Austin. I'd never heard of them before and they were fucking mind blowing. Needless to say they made a new fan that night. I left the show with Origin, Deicide, and Jungle Rot shirts.
I'm pretty sure I've watched every full show origin video of acceptable quality at least twice. Not saying that this quality is only acceptable. This is fucking amazing and saint vitus always seem to have such a great crowd. It's a shame however that there's an extreme shortage of good full Cattle Decapitation show videos. If they do ever come to Saint Vitus, please be there! Your work is always appreciated.
Jason is the man!! Had an opportunity to talk him in a small venue in Oakland back in 2019 or so. He's very approachable and nice guy, we were talking about the stage divers, his sick job in Skinless and shit. Anyhow, can't wait to see them live again. Origin rocks !!
that might have been the fastest 'the aftermath' i've come across. My god john is unbelievably fast and precise. And nobody does it like him! He makes most metal drummers look lazy
that speech the singer gave about phones max fucking respect. i hate when the douche in front of me feels the need to hold his camera up and record the WHOLE show. this dude is my new hero

He sounds like such a boomer talking for 10 minutes about people using their phones to record. I think that whole monologue was even worse than people being on their phone
Fucking killer band and gig! Love them! The intro they use here is an OST to the creepy, weird ass movie about an alien on Earth, called "Under the Skin" I love this OST. Arthouse madness.
The only way it would get any crazier in this genre is if halfway through the show they switched to playing lefty. (John already counts his symmetry is insane, so his plus-up would be adding 4th vocals hahaha) “Origin's music is characterized by almost exclusive use of several specific, difficult playing techniques; blast beats,[5] multiple death growled vocals,[5][6] and arpeggios and sweep picking on both the guitars and the bass guitar.[4] Their songs often have uneven, shifting time signatures” (Wiki)
As i sit in my trailer wishing i could mosh. Jason Keyser is such a great frontman. He makes your show the most fun you've ever had at a death metal show, i don't like slipknot but they work the crowd amazingly, and Keyser is even more fun. No talking smack, just working us like no other. Forget Walls of death, Chicken fights, and circle pits, they're for wusses, combine em and now your at a modern Origin show. I love James Lee's vocals, but he isn't much of a frontman live, great vocals, but just a fat sloth roaming the stage.
Hahaha...I think most just get taken away by the ferocity of the sound. I remember the first time I saw them. I was in awe! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I was standing right in front of James Lee the whole time. Their timing is in impeccable & there’s a lot going on. I spoke to James after as well, he’s cool as hell.
Even if you had chronic leprosy, you could still count on your fingers the amount of bands that are this good. I saw them play to less than 30 people and they still gave it EVERYTHING.
for real. Origin fucking brings it
No doubt man,
Same here when I saw them maybe 50 people at most and it was absolutely incredible!!

Staring from the Abyss 👹👺❤️, one of the the most brutal death songs, one of my favourite of all times.
Man it's so weird cuz i was listening to their music and i swear i came up with about half of these tracks in my head for a makeshift Origin set where i got to choose the songs
Thank you duuude!
Easily one of the very best bassist in the world period .
He should join Viraemia (RIP Scott Plummer)
Mike Floress just shredding that bass!!
dacoda666 MIKE IS A BEAST!!
He went beast mode all over it
I've literally a few bass players that cover any of his bass lines and they never do his most difficult material . Absolutely phenomenal dude .
This is one of those bands that is hard to fully grasp how awesome and talented they really are. The drummer.....holy moly.
John Longstreth - and I agree...holy moly!
Mike is the most insane bass player there is in death metal.
Nobody beats Longstreth, he's undefeated and always will be
It should be illegal to stand around at an Origin show.
so fakn tight live it's ridiculous. best band live period. I stood there slack jawed for the first three songs, and they only thing I could manage to say was holy shit.
This footage should be official dvd. Thank you very much, sir.
+dulsrules yeah, with me in the middle of the screen for like 90% of the time:D
RIP Saint Vitus :(
One of the best bands you can see right now, never moshed and stage dived so much seeing them open for the almighty Deicide!! 🤘😈🔥
I saw that tour in Austin. I'd never heard of them before and they were fucking mind blowing. Needless to say they made a new fan that night. I left the show with Origin, Deicide, and Jungle Rot shirts.
metalgamer83 Yeah man me too, keep on rockin’ dude!! 🤘
I could watch Mike Flores play bass all day
The Aftermath...Jesus fuck. The power trio (Paul, John, Mike) are so in sync these days on the old tunes it's mind boggling.
Right? Goddamn Longstreth's a machine back there on the skins, absolute monolith of music right here!
I'm pretty sure I've watched every full show origin video of acceptable quality at least twice. Not saying that this quality is only acceptable. Is this the best origin vid you could find?
I watched these guys in Dallas this year and now I’m addicted. They’re amazing. Live is way way better to listens to these guys. Amazing experience.
Such an amazing band, they bring it so fucking hard live
Jason is the man!! Had an opportunity to talk him in a small venue in Oakland back in 2019 or so. He's very approachable and nice guy, we were talking about the stage divers, his sick job in Skinless and shit. Anyhow, can't wait to see them live again. Origin rocks !!
this band are fucking savage...its true what he said about the fucking phones too.
Saligia sounds faster here than on the album. why would this drummer do that to himself?
He's probably grinding his skills a bit here.
As soon as the song starts the bass player goes oh shitohshitohshit too hahahaahhaa
okay im afraid of the bass player.
John is so accurate he sounds like a drum machine
So dope, I love the moutains of equipment too.
22:54 best part
Bassdrum lyrics: RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
That bass drum sounds awful
@@RobertWadlow292 you can't tune it lower at this tempo cuz it would sound like one constant note tho
John is a fucking robot, i'm telling you.
It gets better every time I watch it
that might have been the fastest 'the aftermath' i've come across. My god john is unbelievably fast and precise. And nobody does it like him! He makes most metal drummers look lazy
I’m glad the cameraman didn’t turn the camera off during Wrath of Vishnu
that speech the singer gave about phones max fucking respect. i hate when the douche in front of me feels the need to hold his camera up and record the WHOLE show. this dude is my new hero

Nailed.
to my head and my chest,
You know what no interviewer ever ask about Origin, is their fucking awesome samples! Who does them?
Sitting here eating soup and watching Origin videos tonight.
Gooooooood
best live band in existence today
+Param p That title is already being held by Krisiun lml
Krisiun are awesome but after seeing both of them Origin comes on top. Not taking away merit from Krisiun, Origin are just over the top.
How about Cattle Decap? Not trolling, just curious about your opinion.
Dying Fetus and Ulcerate will smash Origin.
Echo that
Awesome, thank you very much for sharing!!
cherrs from Colombia!!!... brutal till morge!!!
John is an absolute savage behind the kit.
Just WOW!
Mike is a bad bad man. Full slap full time, makes origin sound above the the rest. Heavy..
31:45 lol are there actually hardcore dancers at a origin show?
The big bald dude right next to mike flores was just living every fucking moment, great too see
Fucking killer band and gig! Love them! The intro they use here is an OST to the creepy, weird ass movie about an alien on Earth, called "Under the Skin" I love this OST. Arthouse madness.
Omg ....

...yessss..
Knock those phones outta there hands for fun!!
probably the most Brütol shit in the whole Universe, Et je pèse mes mots !
If there was ever a song to hammer heads to Wrath of Vishnu intro is the jam. Hardest hitting song ever.
paul with the occasional wiggly arm technique
this is the scariest band i've ever seen
Why the bass not recorded in this video?
5:47 was that a Jawa?
saw this tour in Philly, they were absolutely brutal.
This kind of play it's not fair for us, humans.
fucking most powerful band in todays death metal and further
John Longstreth on the drums... my goodness!!!
The only way it would get any crazier in this genre is if halfway through the show they switched to playing lefty. (John already counts his symmetry is insane, so his plus-up would be adding 4th vocals hahaha)

Fuck this dude is slaying that bass!!! Amen!!
Apex brutality meets technical superiority. Fun as fuck too. Origin takes the crown.
Everybody standing around wondering if they can actually mosh this fast
Dude how does one drum so fast and flawless
Still surprised he uses a rosewood Warrior. Surely it is time for a custom WR1?
Pretty inspiring imo
2:24 singer and selfie stick!
Omg
this drummer rocks
Hows technical death metal drummer a rocker.
@@johndoethe1st662 only on that kick, to keep it loud!
Is that the weird fuckin' noise from Under The Skin at the start?
THE VOCALIST IS EXCITED HAHAHA!
What his shirt say?
bald head, cool beard, cool bass and fast fingers. I like that guy
Set list?
Only band in my very humble opinion that can compare to Gorguts live or in the studio

Luv these cats !

Mr Bass Player is the master of fingering
The audio terrible for great songs.
I cant believe this guys are doing summer slaughter
